DD7 vs The Prophet

great job .you are the only person that compare these two pedals. and that was what i want to see.great job again.BTW for more modern sound distortion pedal i suggest to check metal muff as well

I have both of these pedals. My wife bought the prophet for my birthday. Both are nice, but I primarily use the dd7.

Both are good, the DD7 has more functionality. I find them both in my chain regularily. I like the Modulating delay in the boss paired with the 1/8 delay in the TC.

the prophet is a simple straight forward usable delay, may not blow your mind but it'll get ya into the land o' the delay good, quick and cheaply. Cheers!

there is something sprakly about the TC that the Boss doesn't seem to have but the Boss has more options.

Is the prophet a good delay for a clean tone?

In my opinion it is really quite a nice clean sounding delay. It's a bit limited in functions but does the trick when I need it to.

As usual I'm not fan of the Boss one... TC seems more "natural".

The boss DD7 has more options but the TC just seems to hit a sweet, sweet spot that works so good for me, and the TC is less than half the price of the boss.
