They're definitely getting to the point where they could probably get manufacturer support, but I doubt Koenigsegg would do it. They'd have more luck with one of the smaller names, something like Trion or Mazzanti

They over modify cars to extreme levels without the engineering behind it. Drive very hard too. It's not Californias fault. They are there own worst enemy let's be real

@@allensaunders449 and that's exactly why one of the boutique brands would be a better choice if they were to try to get manufacturer support. Plus Koenigsegg don't need the publicity and the way DDE punish the cars could actually hurt the brand, while a company like Trion would benefit greatly from the publicity and testing so it would be more of a partnership instead of a sponsorship.

@@allensaunders449 To an extent - the mods are about making it fit the brand and be more unique, and that is exactly why they'd be a benefit to the right manufacturer. Trion was my suggestion for a reason. They're a relatively new company, founded in 2012. They're based in Las Vegas, so close enough to offer support. Every vehicle they've produced so far is a prototype for their first production car, the Nemesis, which looks like a mix of a Zenvo and a Lotus Evija and is powered by a 2000hp 9litre V8. It already fits the DDE brand in every way.
