Bats and other animals DON'T actually rely on mosquitos for their diet. They're often too ahrd to catch. There's plenty of other insects out there. Most insectivores eat slow big things like moths and beetles

Dude there are nearly 10,000,000 mosquitoes born in every pond a day so that’s roughly 100 billion mosquitoes born a day in the whole USA. In total there can be 10 trillion mosquitoes per season in the USA alone. Now for the whole world biomes and countries you’d be looking at 100 trillion mosquitoes per year. That’s fairly enough to feed all animals.

@DavinDesborough
@DavinDesborough Жыл бұрын
Yeah, it takes a couple days for them to die. I don't clean it out until the tank runs out. Once it runs out, I let it set for a couple days (easy to do because I don't check it every day). There will still be a couple live ones, but not too many.

Very cool videos and the device. I loved! But I was left with a doubt, could it cause any environmental impact? This massive removal of mosquitoes around your house? I'm not criticizing what you did, it's just a question that occurred to me. Many other beings depend on this part of the food chain. Perhaps it would be less aggressive to Nature if the traps were placed at the building entrances. What do you think? I would be grateful if someone had the knowledge to explain it to us.
