Definitely need a puller. Hand pulling pots is only fun in the bay when it’s like 30-40 feet deep. Still a great video. Love seeing you guys get after it.

Thanks man! It was brutal, we had big current so it was pulling the pot with the full length of rope, our ropes area 150ft. We got a crab puller today! 😂

Hey guys try making a crab boom with a trailer roller on it instead of that tuna brace. A LOT less friction when pulling the pots up. I made one and it looks easier than what your doing.

These are the XL heavy hoopnets and we added weights to them. They are pretty heavy. If you watch other videos of ours, we usually have two guys pull at once. We have a crab puller now so much less work.

Roller can definitely help! These hoop nets are fairly heavy. We finally switched over to a Scotty puller. Much easier now haha
