Lot of behind the scene stories in this movie - Karan Johar is SRKs friend in specs. This is his cousin Aditya Chopra's first film. The girl named Sheena, Kajol's friend is the dress designer in this film. SRK played as an extra in the background this movie multiple times. Juhi Chawla came to meet SRK on the set and she too is there as an extra that no one can notice along with SRK. You must watch the making. It's very enjoyable.

Jaby's opinion was unjustifiable tbh. Raj wasn't being flirty or anything, he was trying to be but he was super bad, he had no respect and too much arrogance, to the likeness of a jerk tbh. It was for character development. Jaby was just not getting it. It would've been one thing if Raj was flirting but he was failing miserably. and no, Kajol wasn't wrong for her every reaction.

Other big 90s movies to consider for a watchalong: *Dil Se* (1998) Directed by Mani Ratnam. With SRK. Romance/political thriller with the theme of terrorism in the north east. A classic, although divisive (a masterpiece IMO). *Darr* (1993) SRK as the antagonist (man obsessed with a woman) *Rangeela* (1995) Another wonderful romcom, this one with Aamir Khan. Directed by Ram Gopal Varma before he got weird lol From the 80s: *ChaalBaaz* a classic comedy/masala with Sridevi playing twins separated at birth, one shy and in an abusive family, the other street smart and who kicks ass. Also with Rajnikanth, Sunny Deol and Anupam Kher as the villainous uncle! This movie is tons of fun. It's a remake of Seeta Aur Geeta which is also great, but I'd say start with ChaalBaaz 🙂 Supposedly it will be remade soon with Shraddha Kapoor.
