Matchstick thing was a part of famous song of Amir khan. Amitabh is singing song Called "Aati kya khandala" the same Amir khans song. So shahrukh was imitating Amir from the song

Its true! I re-watched it with friends this Diwali and pointed out the same thing! The constant touchy-feely moments between them were oddly uncomfortable and strange.
