Hogan has such a rap for never putting people over but in WCW when he had control, he only had a 48% win total, I havent been a fan of his in 30 years but I have seen a couple other people defending this about him and after looking into it, he knew how to protect his brand but he knew how to keep checks coming in for everyone, still think he has several other flaws besides this one , but he might not be as bad as a few put him out to be

Not all house shows were recorded, probably find that's what he's referring too. Back when the Internet of today didn't exist on our current level and cell phones were terrible. Shame that element is gone, getting a sense at a small show to nail at a big one. All entertainment has been effected this way, comedy is another example.
