I have been trying for months to have a better outlook on life and lose weight and eat right, but nothing was clicking. Not until I watched this and wrote down the quote "Life is 10% what happens to you, and 90% how you react to it". I am always so hard on myself and I am the worst about putting myself down all the time. I am going to stop that right now. I am going to make each day a better day than the last, and I am going to become the person that I have always wanted to be!!

Really inspiring video! I started doing DDP Yoga 7 months ago, lost over 100 pounds, and I'm happier than I've ever been in my life! The greatest part about it is posting my results on Facebook, and seeing how much I've inspired and motivated others to start getting in shape, it truly is a humbling experience!

Depression was so big for me. My daughter died.. She was killed by her babysitter at 6 months old. I gained almost 100lbs. I wanted to die. I tried to kill myself. I was drinking at least 12 beers a night. I wasn't eating or if I was it was fast food or pizza. Then DDP woke me up. Thank you!

My journey started after watching the Netflix documentary 'The Resurrection of Jake the Snake Roberts" and saw how DDP introduced him and Scott Hall to DDPY and how drugs and booze was not the answer. The mobility that Jake and Scott were able to finally get was pretty amazing. But to watch this video of Dallas is nothing short of breathtaking. 90% seems pretty simple but having a person like DDP makes it more inviting. The likability factor and his overall approachable demeanor is something that you don't see quite often anymore. Hearing about his childhood and his own health scares shows a genuine sense of vulnerability that puts you on the edge of your seat just waiting for what he is going to say next. I watched this and then I watched it again. I went online and did my homework. I watched the Arthur video. I ordered the DDPY DVD set. I started to cook items from a menu that came with the DVD set. I am working my ass off to heal my body. I am working my ass off to live my life at 90%. I have and will continue to recommend to everyone to watch this moving and inspirational video. It will change your life.........only after you decide to make a change.

I started a vlog on my process about 8 weeks ago. Man this is the best thing I've ever done. I'm losing weight, I'm regaining the reigns on my life. In turn just starting to change that mind set, I know i still have a lot of work to do, but starting to change that mindset, the change even just a few weeks in is phenomenal. I tell you, Dallas brother, you have got to be by far one of the greatest motivational speakers on the face of the planet, I would put you right up there with Robbins and Ziglar because it's impossible to hear you talk and not walk away feeling like you can accomplish your goals no matter what they may be.

With my disability, Kleine-Levin Syndrome (KLS), that makes me sleep for months at a time, it's always been hard for me to not focus on how sh*tty of a hand life dealt me. However, aided with therapy, I was able to realize there were steps I could take and goals I could strive for that would allow me to live a life worth living. It may not have been the life I had always dreamed of... but rather than quitting, I had to adapt. I always took living life at 90% to mean more about how close you stick to your plans. Like it's okay to stray a little bit (10%) of the time. That way you don't freak out and think everything is ruined by a small detour or obstacle. While I like my interpretation, I'm very happy to understand its original intent. It was pretty powerful to see how pertinent it is to what is currently going on in my life. Thanks for sending this my way.

@michaelgeelan7787 жыл бұрын
This is probably the most important aspect of DDPY for me. I've been doing the workouts, eating right, and losing weight.... but... Ive always struggled with internal dialogue. I've been a habitual self disqualifier for most if my life. Who knows how many opportunities and experiences I've missed out on by telling myself that I can't do something before I even allow myself to try. The 90/10 concept is what I'm committing to working on the hardest. Good video, it parallels the audio book alot.

My dad (and many of his siblings) is a celiac. He wasn't diagnosed until he was in his early 60s. By then he was emaciated, anemic, and had prostate cancer...all diagnosed at the same time. I have a definite gluten problem, myself. Anyway, similar to the introduction man's story, when Elisabeth Hasselbeck was on Survivor (or one of those reality shows) where she was on an island with no food for a long time she had her health improve. Despite losing a lot of weight she didn't need to lose and other challenges, she noticed that her long history of other health issues healed. It was because she had celiac disease and never knew it! Fate is real...

Great job, Dallas! I'm working my way through the List and have seen this three times already (and shared it!) I know I have the 90% in me, I know I have the drive and determination, too. This video is great, but the rest of the tools you have created, your perseverence in getting the information out and your ability to hand out the gift of what you've discovered is tremendous!
