Tony, 4 years ago I was sleeping on my managers couch. Watching you helped me take my career to another level. I'm making over 6 figures, running my own office, and still just scratching the surface! I am super grateful for you. One day I will have enough money to hire you to speak to my employees!! See you soon! I don't take NO for an answer!

How did you do this?
@tommys6117 Жыл бұрын
@@jacobsamano9761 I started by asking my manager if we could go in early to start calling for sales in the east coast, as we were in California and it's 3 hours early in the east. I opened up lots of new accounts and then was asked to become a manager and train a team under me. I came in early, stayed late, researched my potential customers and made hundreds of cold calls a day. You can enter most sales positions with little to no experience and most will never cap off your commission. It doesn't happen overnight but if you work harder than everyone else it will happen to you that much faster.
@jacobsamano9761 Жыл бұрын
@@tommys6117 hey Tommy thank you for responding. I’ve never had experience with the job duties of a salesperson but I stayed away because I always pictured it a position for outgoing, extroverted, great talkers who have skills in getting people to buy into what you tell them quite easily. I am about as polar opposite from that as possible. I’m a quiet, shy, agreeable, under confident, person who feels bad for coercing people into dropping down money on anything they are not completely comfortable with. I guess I’m curious how did you do when you first entered this field? Were you successful immediately or how long did it take to get a hang of it? What types of these jobs (selling what) do you recommend? Can anyone learn? Do you need a certain degree or any other certificate to get hired by most of these places? Thank you! I started in the restaurant business as a teenager at the ground floor not because I enjoyed it but because my parents came from the food service industry and then transferred to the warehouse section for 7-10 years and these were basically my only jobs yet I had no real connections toward either, was just the only way I knew how to pay the bills without having a college degree or impressive resume. Feel dead in the water hoping to find something I can grow a career with.

When I was in my 20s my marriage my, business and my health were all failing. I had less than $400 in my checking account and I spent almost all of it on a Tony Robbins tape series that I saw in an infomercial on late night TV. It was the best decision of my life. Applying what I learned in those tapes continues to help me every day. I’m in my 50s now. I’m retired, still married to the love of my life and more engaged in life than I’ve ever been. Thanks Tony!

If you have ever taken the lords name in vain, lied, stolen something, and hurt people that's makes you unjust in front of just god and you can't redeem yourself. The lord sent Jesus Christ to die for all of man kinds sins and provide a way out. Jesus Christ paid your fine to god for your sins and you have to just believe on him and have faith and you will be forgiven and live in paradise with the lord for all of eternity. I appreciate how he emphasizes that while we all have the same fundamental needs, we go about meeting them in wildly different ways based on our individual beliefs and emotions. So true, so true. One of my favorite/favourite quotes (paraphrased) is, "People don't care about what we know until they first know that we care about them ("strangers care")." As a lead scientist, I challenge myself always to invent more-and-more ways each day to prove to others I care about their pain, fear(s), hopes and dreams, and such before letting myself entertain the idea that they may someday (if they're bored, drunk and depressed enough) care about anything I once said about anything.

Love the speech one of the best but it's been censored. I've watched the original video many times and those passionate words are missing, the ones that are off the cuff, that are natural. Sanitising really Tony! I've been to Business Mastery and your natural speech is fruity but soooo passionate.

It got to the point where I just had to put his voice on to jolt me into action in seconds / minutes throughout my twenties. From a low state to up let’s get it!
