We Tried the Most Extreme HUMAN CANNON!

We designed a human cannon powered by trampoline springs, creating a device that launches you into the air with a pull of a trigger. Initially, we tested it in a standing position, but quickly realized that the cannon was too powerful to maintain balance. So, we built a special seat to allow for a seated launch, ensuring that the rider wouldn’t buckle under the force. This also opened the door to launching people without any acrobatic experience.
This summer, our friends The Real Life Guys invited us to set it up at their festival called Macher Festival. We started by launching a few of our friends at 50% power, and let’s just say the cannon didn’t go easy on them. As we gained confidence, we gradually increased the power, eventually hitting 100%. For our final test, we set the cannon at a 45-degree angle and went full throttle to maximize distance. The result? An insane 11g acceleration-over twice what the best F1 cars can deliver. The rider shot through the air at highway speeds, reaching 150 feet in distance and 50 feet in height. The forces were intense, but the thrill was even more incredible.

Hey guys, put a call out to an experienced wingsuit BASE jumper or wingsuit skydiver. That looks nearly high enough a launch where you could collapse your wing surfaces on launch and then open at the peak and potentially get a significant glide out of it. Way sketchier, but could be an awesome video.

How fast do you think that little sled is going? The worst thing that'd happen is someone opens the wings, catches air, and gets thrown dangerously, which could lead to a serious injury. But no one's getting arms ripped off, sweetheart.

Well human body can withstand up to 20 G, at least that kind of acceleration pilots expect during the emergency ejection in a fighter jet. But their system use stage acceleration. Off course those guys are trained and equipped properly. Special care must be taken to ensure to diminish neck and spine trauma. To do that, head, neck and spine fixation is necessary. There is some room for higher force, but guys, you are very close to the limits. If you are going this way, think about improvement of a seat, head and neck support is essential. And off course, no kids on the ramp.

Exactly, full power is already pretty hard and it’s meant only for trained professionals. Also our current trolley already has a head/neck support. Without it it wouldn’t be possible 💪
