When I got rid of a bunch of my acrylic yarn I donated it to a local nursing home for their residents who knit. Not sure if that's an option for you, but just thought I'd throw it out there 😊

another good way to use acrylic yarn that I recently found out about is using it to make little blankets to donate to animal shelters! 🥰 I'm sure it varies by country so I'm not sure if there are specific organizations that do it in Brunei or if you'd have to call a specific shelter and ask, but the U.S. has several nonprofits that work with a bunch of different shelters where you can either mail or drop off the blankets - they give them to the animals and they get to keep them when they get adopted into their forever home 💗 and having something soft to cuddle with makes the animals happier, more relaxed, and more likely to get adopted! such a cute set-up! love the kitty cameos 💗

This is a great idea! I knitted a scrappy blanket and after finishing it realized that it was so chaotic, so it went to the cat shelter, they liked it😅.
