+Eno Etukeno Militia is very awkward. back in 1.6 it gave the "hidden mansion in the mountains" feeling, now it's a "half-ruined farm-ish scrap pile in the middle of a nuclear swampland" But Valve won't do anything, because for 1: hostage maps are not that popular. 2: Militia is one of the least popular ones in competitive. I loved that map in 1.6. I aced every tournament on it.

2:41 I think the invisible ledge was an ability to collide with that green sign on the B side of CT Mid, allowing people to stand on the top of it. I haven't personally experienced it but I've been told that was the case.

That goose graffiti was added because there was a texture glitch where you could see people camping there if you were boosted in a certain spot. Valve fixed the texture and added the goose graffiti.

Fun fact. You can see beta versions of maps in CS:GO on the Xbox. It uses a special build meant for the Xbox and Valve never properly updated the maps after release.

Dust 2 has always been my favorite map, awesome video!. By the way Philip, I have a suggestion for a video that can be challenging to research but very interesting to watch. How does skins affect the performance of players? sure, skins give no actual advantage over the normal skins, but some claim that expensive skins give them more confident during the game and they play better, while others claim it distracts them and makes them easier to spot. Same goes for really cheap skins, can expensive skins really give psychological advantage?

That "bad geometry" from July 2014 was about borders of doorways in few places that were only 1-way bangable. One of those was doorway from darkroom to the middle and second one was I think on the T-side doors in the connector between long and T-spawn.

Midaspl I believe they were the arches in B-tunnels actually. They had different materials on different faces and the material the game engine calculates penetration on is only the first one it enters.

In the anti wallbang patch they didnt update the doors behind the ct spawnpositions. They still remain unpatched and look like the old doors dust 2 used to have. Not a gameplaychangin update, but simply a missed graphical update.
