The integrated approach works
Opting for an integrated system in which the co-packer carries out its activities in-house at the logistician’s has advantages for everyone: for the customer, for the logistician, and for the custom solutions company.
As a custom solutions company, we see a great advantage in that we can do work here, repetitive work in which our target group employees identify with the logistician, in this case Distrilog. Which brings them closer to society, which is a part of integration into society.
For Distrilog, it is a clear advantage because, thanks to that integrated co-packing story, they always have a satisfied customer. It’s logical for Distrilog to focus on having satisfied customers, as it is for every supplier.
For the customer, it’s a win-win situation because lead times are shorter, the transport costs are lower, there’s less breakage during transport, the flow is very simple with a single point of contact, either at Distrilog or at the co-packer.
