You got it! That’s why I love medium to full coverage foundations - it can do EVERYTHING for you. Add bronzing drops, add luminizing drops, mix with a mattifying primer, mix with a moisturizer….you can turn your foundation into anything

I was pretty good, I went to Sephora right before it started but they gave me a code after i made my purchase, so I “returned” the stuff I already bought and then immediately bought it back with the discount. Kosas concealer, Charlotte Tilbury matte blush wand in pillowtalk (I own all the shades now!!), Ami Colé lip oil in remembrance, Saint Jane lip oil in mystic, YSL Candy glaze stick in showcasing nude, Lancôme mascara I was out of, and the new ND I need a nude palette. After that I am going on a looooong no buy, but I’m going to let myself get one autumnal blush and one lipstick. I went off the rails this summer 😭😭😭

I bought Kulfi eyeshadow in bronze brocade, givenchy concealer (N250) and givenchy voile rose powder during sale. First 2 are per your recommendation. So far I love all 3 products. Kulfi shadow is way better formula than Charlotte tilbury cream shadow and shade is stunning on blue eyes.

I quite enjoyed your strategy of starting with the fully loaded cart and working backwards, fun! And you reminded me of how I talk myself out of blushes. I’m dazzled by the description of a new release, I pick out the peachy shade, and then remind myself I already have gorgeous peachy blushes, since it’s the only color I like on my rosacea skin. 😂 But I still get tempted!

I got a sample of the virtue 6 in 1 styling cream (also is a heat protectant) and I need to buy the full size because it makes my hair SO silky without weighing it down and my hair is very fine, but I have a lot of it. I would HIGHLY recommend it!

I am using a sample of the hourglass and in shade 6. It’s not “peachy “ in person. It is very hydrating and sheer. You have to like “light coverage “. It’s ok but kinda on the sticky side in my opinion and has to be powered down to be “normal “ for me. I’m glad I didn’t buy into the hype. And thankful for samples .

Lol! I ended up purchasing the Pflur figgie scent before the end of the video. I have been rudderless since Jo Malone discontinued her fig scent. So I will let you know how I like it-and you HAD me at cassis (correct-black currant)…one of my favorite fragrances ever. My current fix scent is Hermes Un Jardín en Mediterranee. And I have a little Diptique solid.

I just used the Amavara sunscreen for the first time (purchased on your recommendation), and I love it! It reminds me of the Naked Sundays mineral sunscreen, but less greasy and wet! Exactly what I needed. Thank you!!

First of all, I've been on a low/no buy for a year in Sept & I love this type of content! I've heard some pretty negative reviews on those rare beauty shadow sticks. I always wait for content or reviews from consumers rather than "influencers" or those who received product in pr because I personally think it can be difficult for some people to remain objective & unbiased when they receive pr. Obviously not everyone, but me personally I feel I'm biased when I receive pr & always say so. Btw I recently picked up three of the rms blushes & the shade maidens blush & crystal slipper are both a neutral tone on me. The formula is the best powder blush formula I've ever tried. It's incredible!

Hi Kait, thank you for another great video :) Re: the hourglass blushes. I think it might be worth while trying euphoric fusion as it's blended with the highlighting powder, which I have found tends to look way better on the skin than the normal range (e.g. Mood exposure etc.)

@@StateofKait if you're looking to try a new lip plumper I once saw Michelle Wang talk about the Macrene Actives - plumping high performance lip filler with hyaluronic acid. I checked the ingredients and didn't immediately see anything that screamed menthol or fragrance. It's incredibly expensive tho, but it's an idea. I'm thinking of giving it a go during the next sale

I got both the Sephora collection matte lipsticks and their new liquid lipsticks. I actually didn't have an issue with the fragrance in the lipstick (there is one its just subtle), but the liquid lipstick had the worst scent I had to return it! Editing to add they are NOT like the Em lip cremes lol. Very thin and slippy. You will not like the liquid lipstick.

Alternative to antiperspirant that actually, truly, honestly works (and Dr Dray approved): Benzoyl peroxide under the arms. It's a bit disappointing, no cute product, but it's dirt cheap. I use 10% 3x a week, but if I get any irritation (verrry rare, usually due to shaving), I use 2.5% instead. It's with the acne products, store brand is fine. Even if you shower daily, benzoyl peroxide works for about 36-40 hours, killing bacteria. If you go too long without doing it, you'll stink lol. I just made it part of my evening routine, I write the schedule on my mirror in dry erase. Works better than native, Schmidt's, lumi, la vanille, &

& the ipsy "refreshments" brand. Works on odor, not actual sweat production tho, nothing can really block sweat other than a true antiperspirant, everything else just uses absorbing ingredients that tap out quickly

I've tried the sandalwood fragrance in the form of their body wash and really enjoyed it, but it is on the warm, soft herbal side still (versus more boldly woody or creamy). I've only tried the eucalyptus version of their deodorant.

honest question, if not thru these ingredients you mentioned, how are you getting your lips to plump? You said you like plumping but dont like the ingredients used in these products for plumping, but what are the alternatives? I dont "plump" my lips so I have no idea.

Great question! Plump is a marketing term that has two meanings: 1. Using irritants to promote blood flow to the skin (in lip products) creating the appearance of bigger lips. 2. Using humectants that attract water to the skin that “plump” fine lines through hydration (ie glycerin, hyaluronic acid, etc.) I hate the former, love the latter.

I read the ingredients list for the summer Fridays moisturizer and for the price their is nothing special in it and I'm a skincare junkie and that's overpriced no peptides or anything just oil, extracts and Shea butter no expensive ingredients to warrent the price tag. Re: lip plumping products... they ALL contain ingredients that cause inflammation to the lips. That’s exactly how you get the “plump” effect you see. They’ve been like this since lip plumping products have been produced. If this is irritating to you, just know to abstain from this category of product as a whole. This is more of a general PSA than a direct reaction to your comments :)
