I heard this growing up all through the 90s… my dad was a hip hop head and used to play this when I used to visit him on the weekends. We would do silly dances around the living room of his one room bedsit / flat with vinyl stacked all around…Hearing this song as a child really helps me to tap back into that mind-state and remember the good times. My father had a complicated life and therefore our relationship was always complex, but one thing I will be eternally grateful for is the wonderful music I would hear and was exposed to back then. I don’t know. When I hear this song it’s like he’s telling me… ‘eye know I love you better…’
