They all knew each other from Middle School to being in a group for 4 diffrent decades while maintaining a partnership and friendship throughout. Move love to them and much love for Trugoy's family and loved ones. Great episode

I was in like 7th grade when Grand Master flash and furious five hit in '77. I'd listened to R&B and funk all my life and was deeply entrenched but HIP HOP HIT HARD! I am a fan of all 3 genres. The old head funk masters like George Clinton and the R&B kings like the isley brothers are necessary to bring the culture's history. Just think - No George Clinton, No 'Me, Myself and I" 👀 SALUD!

I’ll never forget waiting with eager anticipation after they did the Kickstarter for the “Anonymous Nobody” album. Thought it was amazing that they stuck it to their label who’d been screwing them for years, and put out their own project with the help of their loyal fans. The Anonymous Nobody turned out to be one of my favorite albums of all time! From start to finish it’s such an amazing project, and even has a full on rock opera in the middle of it. Stakes is High will always be my fav, but AN is a close second for very different reasons. Love y’all and salute to Nore & EFN for giving them their due.

I feel how these brotha feel losing a brother. It hurts more than anyone who hasn't lost a sibling or relative will never fully understand. When my older brother (Maurice) passed away I lost a major part of me. It was the worst day if my life when i seen my brother's lifeless body laying on the floor. That effected me very much especially as a 9 year old then and ill be 51 in October of this year. To this day the pain is still there that never leaves. My condolences to De La Soul and every relative and in-law for his untimely passing. It a hurt that never goes away. Always continuing and cherishing all of the memories with him keeps him alive and his spirit still journeys with you and is your Guardian Angel. Thank you De La Soul for all of the classic hits over the years and being that down to earth group and family that every fan and everyone who had thee honor to meet you cherish. Love and respect always Kings.

Now this is an honor. I love and respect De La Soul to my core. They have always appeared to have a blessed spirit. One of peace and unity. They have been an example of class and excellence. For black women they are the best big brothers ever. It's not just about listening to their music. I feel the love, respect and value they have towards us as a people. Growing up my parents would only allow me to listen to them or DMC ,Kid n Play and other clean rappers. I was grateful because it wasn't just clean. It was a movement, a reminder of our worth to the world and ourselves. May God continue to shower then with blessings, love, and peace.

From Scotland to Drink Champ's, I am so proud of the people who got behind De La Soul to get their own HIP^HOP music back the masters are not to be played with young catz get the masters in your contract even after an amount of time when the record labels have made money from artists that I get they have to run a business but it's legends that we are talking about right now they probably where the reason I got into HIP^HOP music first I thought it was Doggy style album and The Regulator by Warren G but I remember now that De La Soul was in the UK charts and if I'm not mistaken it was top of the pops in the UK and, 3 is the magic number yes it is its the magic number in this HIP^HOP community, the track with Nas and De La Soul is FIIIYAH Scotty💯 boy from Edinburgh ☘
