De'Longhi How To Reset the infuser Magnifica S ECAM22.110

De'Longhi Bean to Cup coffee machines automatically dose, tamp and extract through an internal infuser (brewing unit).
The machine resets the infuser after each coffee, but if the power supply is interrupted during this procedure, the infuser can find itself in the wrong position. You may be unable to remove the infuser or the drip tray. Most of the time the machine will automatically reset itself when turned back on.
Here is a quick, guided procedure to reset the infuser.

If you have issues with "insert infuser assembly" error. There might be a faulty micro switch on the left side behind the cover. The part needed is DC3C-L1AA. It has 3 legs so one needs to be cut off.

We use it for about three people everyday in the morning. The taste and quick brew is one of the reasons we like it so much. There are so many choices of brands of coffee that we would grab what was on sale and test the different brands from there. I would definitely recommend trying different brands of coffee to find the ones you like the most because there are brands that quite frankly taste horrible.

Great and clear instructional video. Thank you. I do have a question regarding the Descaling indicator. We ran through the correct descaling process - this was the 2nd time since purchasing - however the RED indicator lamp remains stubbornly illuminated. Is this something we can rectify?

Your question may be 1 year ago. However, if you are still having the problem, do the descaling process without the descaling liquid by filling up clean water to the tank to maximum level. This time, you will be repeating the process for 2 or more times until the red light is gone.

Hi! May I ask you something ? How can I adjust the grinding time? The dial front button is set on maximum but my coffe machine is grinding for 5 seconds. I have at work the same model and time is 7 seconds of grinding. Because of this, the quality of my coffe is inferior than other one. Thank you in advance.

my light indicating scaling needed does not turn off after the descaling, then when i make coffee the water level turns on indicating there is no water and I do notice a small drip just when the frother tubing comes out of the machine

Hi, Thanks a lot for all your vid I bought my DeLonghi Magnifica XS from Costco MN 120 v - 60 HZ 1250 W Type ECAM 22110 B P= 1.5 MPa (15 bar) When I took it to North Africa and by mistake I plugged it in 220 V I smelled little burning. I still can turn it on I can hear the coffee grinding all screen look good with green and yellow light but it doesn't dispense water nor a coffee. Please help.

We did this and it worked, however, we find that the red light is still flashing and feel that the machine is not giving out the same amount of beans as it used to and there is a small amount of water going in with the ground beans container??

This did not work for me. Mine is an ESAM04.110B and doesn't have the side access, only front. I haven't been able to get it out since I bought it. Right now I've just spent an hour digging out coffee grinds that have compacted under and around it using multiple brushes, flat and curve objects and the hair dryer and vacuum cleaner. It simply won't budge. I've had it on it's side, upside down, water tank in, water tank out. I am SO frustrated with this machine. I've had it 2 months.

Hiii, what to do when the espresso button no longer functions properly? If insert a Nespresso compatible cup (to make an espresso) and press espresso, I don’t get an actual espresso press. Before, the espresso would be done after approximately 25-30 seconds, but now it just keeps going and only stops if I press the button again. What comes out also doesn’t taste like an espresso, because it’s not as concentrated as it used to be. Anyone know what to do with this?
