If you watched the complete episode, you will see that the dude who was fired was actually right. Jesse had a lousy attitude about this project right from the beginning. He didn't like the idea. So he left the crew high and dry to figure out what to do. Jesse wasn't even there in the planning stage. And that's how the crew came about putting a shell on a hovercraft. I lost all respect for Jesse James. I hope he matured and saw what he did

Jesse always comes off like he's playing a character. The dude's talented but has this front up. It's very clear in the Folsom Prison build where he compares his celebrity status and not being able to have privacy to the same as a prisoner and instantly gets told by said prisoner something along the lines of "oh no no no it's not even close to the same dont believe that" Jesse then just looks at the camera awkwardly.

I disagree with the previous comments. The Delorean started off as a cool idea, unique body panels, rear engined/ wheel drive, gullwing style doors. The problem was that it couldn't survive the intricacies of not only mass production, but the what ended up being a cash strapped unproven organization. I think if John Delorean was tasked with GM (or some other motor company ie Volvo), as the head engineer of a new sports car model backed with blue chip cash could of evolved successfully.

@H0ellenKex The first person to fuck up the Delorean was John Z. Delorean. Way overpriced, way underpowered, and the stainless steel made it extremely heavy too. People who consider the Delorean as something excellent do it for only one reason: the Back To The Future movies. But if we consider the Delorean as an "actor" portraying a "character" in those movies, it's only the character that is worthy of praise, not the actor.

You could soup up any number of thousand dollar cars and get twice the performance of a classic car. People buy them because they are cool and special. And what's more cool and special then a stainless steel car? You can leave it in the rain or run it through salt and it will never rust on you, that alone is really cool and special.
