So the song slaps hard OF COURSE… but as a person that’s bitter towards Christmas due to trauma, I appreciate the lyrics telling the downside of this holiday because that’s exactly how I be feeling. So iconic. My favorite thing about this song (other than Felix's line, you know what I'm talking about) is so much of them being them. Han is especially classic (particularly at the end), but the others too. And the little references like LeeKnow's cats, selfies, Seungmin and stuffed animals (look it up, haha) --- and more! For those viewing who haven't gotten to know them through the hours and hours of footage available on KZbin, they're missing out on a special component to this great song! And I LOVE the "step out" part! That was awesome! And, I didn't see it so much as hating Christmas or anti-Christmas but more calling out reality. Most people put on the rose-colored glasses and pretend that unpleasant side doesn't exist (and that unpleasant side can be quite inconvenient). I also liked about not needing presents crossing out Xmas, meaning, don't need presents to take the focus away from what is really important. (And personal pet-peeve is that Xmas gets such negativity as anti-Christmas when it isn't crossing out Christmas! The 'X' comes from the Greek letter Chi, which is the first letter of the Greek word Christos-it is a centuries long established shorthand.) And, in the end, they're all having fun and partying-chaotic as only Stray Kids know how, lol. They are having fun spending time with loved ones, etc. They may be filling in for Santa, but they know it isn't about the presents!
