Here’s what happened: His name was Endicott Ackerman. He was a 20 year old student attending the University of Sydney. Apparently there was a huge storm and he went into the water and people saw him struggling. They called the cops and then there was a report from his family of him going missing. I don’t know why he went into the water during the storm though. They were searching for him for a few days until they finally found him (of course in this video). It’s just heartbreaking.

Dang...what courage Beardy has. He just leapt off the safety of the jet ski and plunged into raging volatile waters. No footwear with traction yet mounted the rocks like a cat. Then dove into what he hoped would be water to get back to the jet ski. I have goosebumps a the shear thought of fearlessness. To me that was a total completed mission. He didn't waiver or flinch.
