rubberbanding only ever seems to happen at the worst times, if i'm running round the map i'll be fine but when i'm death hook running a pallet and i need to hug the wall, i'll rubberband and die. love that they leave these game breaking bugs (?) in the game for as long as they do.

Y'know, as bad as I am at the game, I feel like I haven't actually seen rubberbanding myself. I'm curious if BHVR could fix it faster if they get hardware info from a bunch of people that do, and don't, see the issue. What would really suck is if it's a matchmaking thing where sweaty tryhards are somehow DDOSing the server mid-chase so it seems like a pure network thing.

Only left for months when it's about survivors taking the big pill... I remember back on April last year, we found a bug where you could make killers get stuck on rocks, or another one where you can make 3 hooks spawn outside of the map, guess what... they got patched within days. So you're like: ok, you made 4 new models for rocks and modify a whole spawn code to fix these bugs in days, but you can't f*ing fix a damn rubberbanding or hit validation??? C'mon bhvr

9:10 that's a well known bug where it shows that David's model is healing the Meg, however his hitbox is a little more to the right, after he stops healing you'll see his model is going a bit more right than when he was healing, however it's weird how the autoaim is going for the model and not the hitbox

It's honestly torture for Xbox One time I swung a total of 10 times at a healing survivor, auto aiming to the model everytime, and they got the heal off. For some dumb reason the hitbox acts as if they were standing up instead of crouched over healing someone

The rubberbanding has been in the game in some form or another for years now. I remember sometime in march 2019 when they changed vaults for some reason they introduced it to every single window vault (it stayed like that for years btw) and now it literally happens randomly while running for at least 3 months now.

The bugs in this game is mindnumbingly bad. The hits on the other side of the windows, the pallets, and even the bugs that causes some perks not to work bothers me. Yesterday, I got penalized for five hours because my Xbox shut off on me, and yet this company did nothing. I love how they penalize you even when it's not your fault, but someone named Carti b can hack the game for months before getting banned. 😒

@@kr3016 I didn't DC at all that day. It was my Xbox disconnecting me. The game's coding would've saw that I had DC'd if I gave the commend from my controller. I never did. It would make sense if I did do it many times and that's why it happened, but why penalize me for my Xbox shutting down before the match started?

@@Zeddex2965 the game sees any disconnect as a DC, for any reason. I have even gotten disconnect penalties from Steam updating and from BHVR’s own internal issues making the game crash. This is because if you don’t like how a game is going you can pull the internet or power cord out of the wall and still say “it’s not my fault my power went out”/“it’s not my fault I had an internet outage.” There’s NO way you’d have a 5hour DC penalty after just one DC - you must have DCed intentionally a lot because it goes from like 3minutes to 5 minutes to 10 minutes to 15 minutes and up. You must DC frequently.

If they are this strict, how come they don't penalized or ban people so quickly when they upload videos on KZbin of themselves cheating? I've seen many videos of people doing multiple flashbangs while running away from the killer, doing multiple locker rushes back to back within a second, and I just seen a video of a player today that came into contact with another killer in the same match. He played billy, the other person played the trickster, who was jumping and flying through the air. It seems to me that you are making an excuse for this sorry mess of a game. A game with so many bugs, that it's causing people like Zubatlel to quit playing it for a while. I know you're a fan of this game, but you gotta be honest with yourself, this game has problems. The hit detection boxes are bad, the game rubber band players constantly, and some of the perks malfunction during the matches. That's not even including a faulty anti-cheat system that people are getting pass, so they can cheat and upload videos about it without much of a care about what happens to their throw away accounts. If you enjoy this game, continue to play it. I agree with Zubatlel. I refuse to play it until they fix these problems. I think it's dumb that they penalize you for disconnecting, but yet don't penalize someone when they use software to send out malicious code to the server until weeks or months later. To me, it seems like this game is just a job to them. There's no passion involved, or much of a drive to make it better anymore. As compared to other horror games, or online competitive games, they have to work out the bugs first before they lose even more players.

I've played many times with Legion in specific, and I can't tell you how many times when I thought that I was gonna hit a survivor, I hit an object (tire, bus..) instead of a survivor right next to it, especially on windows, and especially in frenzy...it's so infuriating..

If you limit the fps to 90 you will notice zero if any rubberbanding btw. Used to have it at 120 fps and had rubberbanding at the time. But now its much rarer occurrence.

The problem with fixing things like rubber-banding is that it's not easily reproducible. If it were as cut and dry as "When I vault windows, my character model disappears" then at least they can pinpoint it quickly. With things like this, in an online match that can last up to 15-20 minutes, random rubberbanding is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

I have fiber optic internet with some of the highest speeds in my area, and I STILL rubber band. The best part is that it is making the experience on both sides unplayable because this wonderful rollback system they introduced. Huntress hatchets not hitting people, getting sucked back right before reaching a pallet, it happens nearly every game at this point and the only solution is to remove the system. The shitty part is that is inherently nerfing survivors who have horrible connections so we know that’s not gonna happen lmao.

I played a bunch to get all the survs I owned up to 50 (28/31) over the course of the event, since everyone was popping those mad BP offerings. In that time, I think I had three bad rubber-bands, ones where I was definitely fucked over. I wasn't playing for streamer hours, but I was getting like 4-5 hours a night in for a little over a week. Those nasty bands were against two different billies and a huntress, and I had a separate game where everyone was made of the same rubber as those tiny bouncy balls. That one was fucking hilarious

Viewers that watch the videos because it's Zubat would obviously stay, but that aren't nearly as many as he has right now. I'm gonna be honest, I wouldn't watch other games. I'm here for the DbD content and because Zubat is a good player, but if he would play something else my interest in the content would drop tremendously. Isn't rubber banding one of those things that is really hard to fix because of how servers work? Where they have to keep track of players location at all times and sometimes it messes up? Like, yeah, of course it won't be perfect. I haven't experienced it all that much myself but I have seen it in other games and a LOT worse. Rubber banding on Apex, for example, lasts through-out an entire round when it happens, in DBD it's just a short stutter. I don't think the fix is as simple as most people think tbh.

Man, just remove 120 fps cap... u can just disable v-sync, put the cap back to 60 and enable smooth frames (something like that)... It will be good as 120 fps and rubber banding is no more... hope that helps!!
