Here's my chapter idea (Keep in mind, I at least tried but I'm not a developer) The Smile: A sadistic killer. Power: Go to Sleep- His past torment and struggles have been brought back by the Entity in the form of Jeff's disposal. The Smile is able to feed off of the fear of his victims. The Smile comes with a Fear Meter that consists of three bars. Chasing survivors causes the fear meter to progressively fill up, hitting survivors considerably increases the fear meter. You can use the fear meter to the following abilities and with the required amount of bars: Berserk: Consumes one bar, The Smile is momentarily slowed down, he stabs wildly at anything near him. Any survivor close to him in all directions will be damaged while berserk is active Burn it All: Consumes 2 bars, The Smile stomps on the ground, every generator in the trial ignites in flames for 3 seconds, any survivor repairing a gen is ignited, causing their vision to be smoky. The survivor must do the extinguish action to take the fire out or they will lose a health state and suffer the hindered status effect until healed. Rage: Consumes all bars, The Smile laughs manically as fire and rage consumes him. During Rage, The Smile moves at 108ms, he has a considerably reduced missed weapon cooldowns. Bloodlust is replaced with exposing the survivor you're chasing. Picking up a downed survivor will instead have them drowned in flames and teleport on the nearest hook to you. Being stunned causes a huge flaming explosion which ignites any survivor near you. Hitting a healthy survivor will ignite them Perks: Burnout- Your hate for everyone else fuels you. When a survivor is unhooked , if the rescuer is in your terror radius interacts with a generator, totem, exit gate, or locker in 10 seconds they will suffer from the hindered and exposed status effect for 8/10/12 seconds Twisted Minded- You have a morbid way of dealing with enemies. Every time a survivor heals or is near another survivor for 15 seconds, gain a token. The more tokens you have the slower the survivors walking and crouching speed is and scratch marks last 1/2/3 seconds longer for every token you get. You lose all tokens when you hook a survivor Hex Death for all: You give no empathy or care in anyone except for the desire to kill. When two generators are fixed within 20/25/30 seconds of each other, all generators are blocked for 40 seconds and all survivors' auras are revealed for 8 seconds. The survivors that repaired the generator are exposed for 20 seconds

Burnout should be a permanent affect (as in no time limit to activate it), last longer, and tell you where they are. Something like "If the rescuer is in your terror radius, the next time they interact with a generator, totem, exit gate, or locker, they will create a loud noise notification, and suffer from hindered and exposed for 16/18/20 seconds. Twisted minded, I say go for -10% crouching speed per token up to 5 tokens, and -6% walking speed up to 5 tokens, 15s longer scratch marks on top of that sounds good. Hex: death for all is perfect. Maybe make the time the survivors are revealed scale with level too, like "8-9-10", but otherwise that could be added today and be perfect.

Going to be completely honest, ideally, if Jeff were to be in the game at any point, it should be as a legendary skin for the Legion in a Slenderman or Channel Zero chapter. I just don't think the story is good enough and the characters is incredibly similar to The Legion. Regardless, the music is amazing.

As to allow him to get his power normal,y and overly abusive survivors accelerate it. Also, the power would have tiers, T1 is base killer, T2 5% faster, and 50% faster recovery from all stuns. T3 is *E D G E M O D E,* no terror radius, 50% increased vault speed. All survivors are exposed for 60 seconds. T4 if someone is able to hit T3 6 times, he's are allowed to tackle and mori survivors. For reference, Michal can EW3 7 times maximum at base.

After being blinded ot stunned, the survivor who did it becomes exposed for 20/30/40 seconds. Whenever a survivor is exposed by any means, gain 5% Movement speed until the exposed effect ends. Deadly Equillibrium: You bargained with the Entity for better odds of winning, and the Entity listened. At the start of the match, destroy 2/3/4 random standing pallets on the map. If there are more than 2 survivivors less than 6/8/10 meters away from each other, their aura is revealed to the killer and all their action speeds are reduced by 15%. Jeff honestly has always had potential, some creative minds have rewritten his original story and made him a pretty scary character, so if he was to go into DBD, I’d be interested to see what they’d do with him. Use the original and giving context where there was none (maybe explaining that The Entity had some involvement in Jeff’s drastic change)? Use one of the current rewrites? Or create their own version? The possibilities are vast here and the potential is intriguing.

This is great. While I can see Jeff being a legendary skin for The Legion, it would be cool to see how BHVR use Jeff. Not really a well written story, but the devs can hopefully make their own Jeff lore. the thing that really makes Behaviour's themes and yours so different is that the ones you make could really make someone shit their pants, they have that particular rythm, so precise, that digs into the player's courage and breaks it, while BHVR's are good, but a lot of theirs sound like a bunch of instruments being played with no timing completely at random, like the Blight's

I just came here for Sweet Dreams, and I'm not disappointed. HELL YEAH. Also I love the part where it almost goes silent and you can only hear the sweet but creepy melody on the piano, and then the low, dark sound of drums summons, then the guitar and it turns out to be a really tense metal instrumental. Literally the best part. (1:39 - 2:02)

Also if you want a good suggestion for another Creepypasta themed DBD Lobby/Chase music, Laughing Jack would be a good one. His regular theme song is a creepy version of Pop Goes The Weasel, and I'm betting you could fit that in for the Lobby music and an increasingly intense version for the Chase music. There are other suggestions I got in mind but, I won't list them all unless you want me to haha.

Chapter: Sweet Dreams of Screams New Killer: The Smile New Survivor: Liu Woods

The Smile: a relentless killer, able to turn situations to his favor through brute force through the use of their power: Hunter’s Bloodlust. Their perks, Shadow Killer, Instability, and Sweet Dreams allow him to gain an early advantage. In order to use his power, he must first find a survivor and initiate a chase. The longer he chases, the more his power grows until it can be unleashed. When activated, he will run at legion speed, and all survivors will be exposed during it’s duration. When he downs a person, the Killer Instincts of all survivors are revealed, but the timer will go down at a faster rate. The base timer lasts 60 seconds, improved with addons. Shadow killer allows the killer to turn a situation around at their lowest moment. When a killer is unable to use their power, their Terror Radius will be decreased by 8/16/24 meters. Instability creates panic amongst survivors by creating an 8/16/24 terror radius around all injured survivors. Sweet Dreams takes advantage of a survivor’s hope and tears it down. Those who finish a generator are given the oblivious and exposed status effects for 30/40/60 seconds. The survivor(s) who complete the last gen are moriable. Good luck trying to survive this killer in the fog. P.S. I did make a second comment, but thinking of a killer concept for him was tricky. The music inspired me though, at least with the perk Instability.

New killer: The Creepypasta He was just a regular 13 year old boy who survived a brutally disfiguring attack of bullies, Jeff had a mental breakdown, and killed them all. The bully badly burned him, but to keep his spirit, he carved a wicked smile on his face Power Sleepless nights: You gain the ability to make a survivor see your face, these have 4 phases Slight visions: see his face flash on your screen for 5 seconds every 60 seconds Lost sanity: See his face flash on your screen for 10 seconds every 45 seconds Insanity rising: see his face flash on your screen for 15 seconds every 30 seconds Definition of insanity: see his face flash on your screen for 20 seconds every 25 seconds How to get rid of this? Sleep in the beds within the map, but beware, he has the ability to phase directly to that bed, not only that but slit your throat, instantly putting you in the dying state, but when on second hook stage, he stabs you several times, then carves a smile on your face and tosses you off the bed (he doesn’t get notified when you sleep in it, just a killer instinct when you wake back up, but the teleport is just for map travel) ------------------------------- Perks Go to sleep: when the survivor performs a rushed action, or does a generator for 20/15/10 seconds they get exhaustion and blindness for 20/30/45 seconds No point in hiding: survivors that leave a locker, or uncrouched within your terror radius, they breathe 70/80/90% louder, and they become exposed and hindered Smile! When a survivor performs a rushed action, fails a skill check, or sabotages a hook, they laugh like an insane person no matter their health state for 25/30/45 seconds, introducing a new negative status effect, sanity loss ------------ Cosmetics Before it happened…: Jeff before he went insane and got burned and carved his smile Prestige cosmetics Disgusting blade: a blood covered blade with some saliva dripping down due to him carving smiles and getting the knife in the mouth Gross hoodie: all the victims that fell to Jeff probably have their blood on here… Blood crazed smile: He doesn’t give a damn if blood is in his eye, or mouth, he enjoys it and his new face with his carved smile and bloody face…

So Jeff is pretty cringe in most of his stories. But there is one genuinely well written Story I've found him in, which is Vincent V. Cava's story: "Right on Time." In that Story Jeff and his actions are described as such: *Fright’s razor sharp talons sunk themselves into his chest. He turned to leave, but stopped abruptly in his tracks when he saw the mirror. There was a message written on it, a string of crimson letters smeared across the glass surface. He had been so focused on the shower earlier that he hadn’t even noticed it. He read the words. It was short and brief, but it sent a horrible feeling of dread through his entire being because - and this was something he was sure of - the message was written for him.* *RIGHT ON TIME* *The humidity of the bathroom was making him woozy. It was an odd sensation; the steamy heat coming off the shower in combination with his dizzy head made everything feel unreal - almost as if he was experiencing a bizarre fever dream. He opened the door and wave of cool air crashed against his face. With it came a heavy dose of reality.* *It hadn’t been an accident that the woman he’d been following was murdered the very same night he decided to make his move. No, the killer had even sent him a message. The entire time he had been stalking her, someone had been stalking him. While he had been planning her death, someone had been planning his.* *He didn’t run out the bathroom; he galloped. It seemed like the staircase had somehow moved a hundred feet down the hall. The shadows were no longer his to hide in. They had a new monster - and it was coming for him. His legs stopped working as soon as he reached the top of the stairs causing him to collapse onto the bannister. With all of his strength he hoisted himself up to his feet.* *What had happened?* *A couple seconds later and a searing pain in his back answered that question. He reached behind and felt something sticking out of it, like a cold metallic cyst that had suddenly sprouted from his spine. There was pressure pushing down on the back of his head now - a hand forcing him into a helpless position, doubling him over the bannister. For a second it felt like he was levitating as he dangled precariously, looking down towards the living room floor fifteen feet below. Then came another searing pain even worst than the first. Slowly, his assailant had begun to pull the knife his body. It felt as if his wound was being defiled, as if someone had just finished using it the same way he used his victims.* *How big was the blade? How deep had it been buried? It seemed like it took forever to remove. Once it was finally out, he could feel the hallway’s cool, drafty air add insult to his injury as it licked at the gaping gash in his back. He tried to get back to his feet, but before he could, someone snagged ahold of his ankles. In and instant, he was toppling over the handrail. The living room spun around him as he fell down to the floor. He landed on his shoulder with a THUD and let out a groan. There was no doubt in his mind that it was dislocated.* *He gazed up and saw the figure of a man crawling down the stairs on all fours like an animal and he wondered for the second time if he was dreaming. The only thing he could make out was his pursuer’s bushy hair, blacker than midnight and as wild as a savage. Desperate questions streamed through his head.* *What is that? Jesus Christ, what the hell is that thing?* *He watched silently as the man or animal or thing that had attacked him reached the bottom step and stood up on two feet, uncurling its spine like a cobra dancing for a snake charmer. The shaggy head of dark, matted hair turned in his direction and now he could see a face - a human face - or at least one that used to belong to a human. His stalker wore a skeleton’s smile - no lips and a set of flat white teeth that contrasted bitterly against purple gums. Like a rotting corpse it had no nose and its pallid complexion looked snow white in the moonlight seeping into the living room. In its hand it held an eight-inch bowie knife, coated in blood.* *It began to slither towards him again, watching him through a pair of bulging, yellow eyes. It almost looked as if it was wearing a person like a Halloween costume. A teenager or young man perhaps. It was dressed in black pants and a white hooded sweatshirt that had been tie-dyed in the blood of the woman in the bathroom.* Jeff is never explained, we don't even now if he's a human, they leave a lot of details out, and describe him in more animal/monster like terms. His name is never said, he was simply a thing, a creature who attacked our main character. Who he was waiting for. He has only one line of dialogue, and as soon as we see him he kills our narrator leaving us with more questions.

If Jeff the Killer ever became a dead by daylight character. I would hope he would have a costume that references the MBK audio dramas. I know it's a little niche but those audio dramas were really good and always portrayed Jeff as a menacing undead serial killer and not some pretty anime boy.
