I keep coming back to this song periodically, almost as if my internal clock reminds me that I haven't heard it in a while, so I need to refresh my memory of it. It's just an amazing piece of art. I also love the live performances, every one seems to have different nuances that enrich the original song even more.

It sickens me that the no talent trash out there today gets thousands of hits yet something this beautiful, this deep this quality has only 672 thumbs up? Dead Can Dance was always an awesome band-Lisa has always had the voice of an angel.

Her voice is like a fairy tale about sirens we learned in school. To me she's a real life siren. She melts my heart, soothes my mind, and comforts my soul. she's a real angelic siren from God. 3

Waited outside of KCRW in LA to talk to Lisa Greard after her radio interview approx 19 yrs ago. When she came out, she was asked by some dude what language she used to sing. Lisa was irritated by the question and paraphrasing she stated that she sings in the language of the universe. She looked ethereal... An amazing and extraordinary woman with the voice of an angel.

The beauty of this voice and song make me weep. I love this tune so much I can only listen to it once a day. It evokes a poignant sense of loss and soul crushing sadness, over what exactly, I have no idea, but I cannot NOT listen to it.
@mariagricius63787 жыл бұрын
Don Pfoutz Im not sure how open minded you are, but this song, the vibration is of Creation, the Creator, the Universe. Your soul remembers and misses being one with our creator, of which we are eventually going back too. All of Dead Can Dance`s music is very Divinely inspired. 😉

Now dig it; the crowd recognizes and claps in the beginning for the "The Host of Seraphim". This is devotional music - they must probably be devoted to (a) Madame Lisa herself or (b) the "The Host of Seraphim". I'm betting it's the latter. In any case, I'm ready to join that crowd in their esteemed admiration for both. The Seraphim or Guardian Angels or Spirit Guides or Higher Power(s) are everlastingly and eternally asking, imploring, us to awaken to our own light-filled magnificence and to the likewise golden magnificence of others; after all… they are us with different faces or vice versa? We're all on the journey together. Each one, teach one.

Since 20 years it is everytime so, that when I hear her Voice, Ive got some Tears in my Eyes. Her Voice turns my Soul out of my body and makes her sad and happy, at the same Time. I ve fear to see or hear this wife live on stage, I think thats my dead....

It is not Celtic. It is Glossolalia (speaking in tongues). Lisa has said in interviews that she enjoys singing this way because she is not restricted to the prison that is the human language. It allows her voice and spirit to be truly free.
Qué cosa más inspiradora y estremecedora, me encanta T.T
