The room looked kinda simular to the boss arena, and it was in a clocktower

@@followrobthomas we are really not sure about that, he might not even exist in the show but who knows. In the king and queens story they did not mention the hand of the king at all for some reason. We might meet him soon along with the giant and the timekeeper.

What an amazing show, what an amazing dub. I appreciate the hell out of what has been achieved here. The story, while different, did stick to the source material in a few elements. Maybe, just maybe, this thing about equivalent exchange can be applied to the lore of the game, creating some sort of correlation between the malaise and homunculi, since the origin of the malaise has always remained a mystery in the game. I don't have anything to base this off as of now, but I'll be going insane over dead cells lore again in the coming days.

Nuh uh, in the game it's totally different (SPOILERS) In the game the Malaise randomly appears and the Queen gets kidnapped by the Apostates which turn her into a homunculi, then her Servants save her and they go to the Lighthouse to stop the spread of the Malaise. Homever, King became a homunculi after the Alchemist studied what the Apostates did to Queen but failed and created a blob without memories of his past life that later got a body and a name. This series isn't canon because in the game if you wear King's outfit at the Crown Queen tells you that she loves you but she has to kill you.
