It took me over a year to complete Dead Cells. Each time I get close to completing it they release more DLC! I've spent so much time on this roguelike of live, die, repeat, and pain that you all voted on that I'm worried the second I release this there will be a new update. Dead Cells took the indie game scene by storm with it's fluid mechanics and procedurally generated playthroughs. With great soundtrack and near limitless options, this metroidvania adventure is always a fun time (even with the perma-death).
Let me know what you thought about my Dead Cells review!

“Jirard chose to complete Dead Cells in this year and do it’s tasks, not because they were easy, but because they were hard, because that goal will serve to prove and measure the best of his abilities and what he learned, because that challenge is one that he was willing to accept, one he was unwilling to postpone, and one which he intended to win, and the grinding, too.” -JFK You should be proud of yourself Jirard

Jirard after completing Dead Cells: "This is one of the most difficult games that I had ever in my life had to complete. The skill, the patience, the frustration; and all in all it was like a drug addiction. It just kept bringing me back more and more and more until I got sick of it..." The Hunter's Grenade only boosts stats on the higher difficulties. Also, the shop where it and the map are located has to be unlocked, and it costs 3 thousand gold, which is a lot for Prisoners' Quarters, or a 50 curse.

@@draghettis6524 3k isn't really much, on 5bc you can get at most 5-6k just from going through the movements in the first biome/level. YESSS! Haha But, hearing how he's practically torturing himself completing these games... I don't think Hades would be too torturous to finish? Can agree, developed good choice and skill play a huge part. When I reset after a big update a while back, literally was able to clear the normal game route on go number one (when Hand of the King was the final boss) Which is great seeing as my first time ever clearing the boss took more attempts than I wanna think about.

DeadCells parry system is incredibly strong. you can parry all but 4 attacks in the entire game, even those green bomb flies. and the game has this thing where you can pull off parries even when you hit the button a split second too late. so you can parry two attacks coming from both directions if you press the parry/back+parry buttons fast enough. i cannot express how satisfying it is to do this.
