Quick correction: Phantasy Star Online never came out on the PS2 unlike what is stated in this video. Apparently it was because Yuji Naka didn't like the PS2 but I'm not 100% certain about it because that's just a rumor. There WAS A PSO-like game on there, Phantasy Star Universe, and that has its' own custom servers, but when talking specifically about PSO there was never a PS2 ver. There was a PC version though. Two PC versions, in fact. PSOv2 PC and PSO Blue Burst.

It was also an era where Sony v MS for exclusivity were a major fight, it's why it's only been about the past year or so we've had PSO2 on PS4 internationally.

Halo 2 and the 360 CoD games were so amazing and I'm glad they're alive amd well again. Halo 2 was the last breath of Xbox Live on the OG Xbox, it's death was long and renowned, but it's nice to have it again in MCC and a possible revival of the OG Halo 2 and 360 Halos.

Idk if anyone mentioned this, but I think in a series of updates added to Halo MCC a while back I think after it came to PC but before Infinite launched, they did actually port a few maps from Eldewrito/Halo Online into all versions of MCC! Not sure about some of the weapon variants, but definitely those maps. Also, someone DID mention this hut I feel like reiterating; Halo 2 Vista has a similar revival BEFORE MCC came to Steam, called Project Cartographer. Added a bunch of cool new options and expanded the mod support of the game with a server browser. I remember it being fairly active a while back, but I'm not sure how it's doing now that we have an official alternative for all the Bungie Halo's.

Just some small infos on Project sunrise for the 360 halos: Halo 3 basic MP works but gets constant updates so it'll eventually be like the OG Halo 3 back in the day on the 360, Halo Reach support is in pre alpha currently and worked hard on to get it running well, but you'd basically start at recruit rank with a blank account since rank and customization was server side and cant be restored. Halo 4 is technically still online playable when playing via backwards compatibility on XB1/Series consoles, so idk if it'll get added to project sunrise. Also project sunrise will work on both xbox and the Xenia emulator on PC. Last but not least, Halo 2 vista got its online services reinstated a while back with project cartographer and the PC version of Halo CE and Halo Custom Edition still have their online services running i think
