Very cool video. An interesting part of NYC I probably never would have seen.. I wonder how much 100 year old debris returns to the surface from erosion and deposits from he changing water levels. Amazing how much stuff is there and how Adele has the knack for finding the hidden treasure👍👍👍👍

Adele is great , later on in the day , she brought us to a spot where a entire house was bulldozed down and then tons of garbage had been dumped on top of it over the years . We were able to find the same bathroom floor tile from this one house in scattered areas . I found another picture frame , but the picture was destroyed .Bottles from all years were found everywhere . Thanks for watching . Mike .

OMG you got to be there at a legit low tide Mike 😃. Awesome & you were able to meet Adele too 👍 Marylou and I have got to make it there when it's a true low tide 😳 because we didn't get to hunt nearly as much shoreline as you all did. The tide moved in rather quickly after we arrived 😔 The number of bottles laying around is astounding and the relics still hiding there is amazing ☺️. I have a NEED to find a marble at DHB 🤣

Sadly, Dead Horse Bay beach area (a large portion) has been deemed unsafe due to very high radiation readings, it goes down 2 ft or so into the sand...... It's a shame to see all of that beautiful history lay there & not be able to retrieve it......

What's the whole deal with the radiation that was found there. Did they ever do anything about it
@diecast_MikeEspo3 жыл бұрын
I really don't know the whole story , but what i was told is that , workers had these markers that they would tack on the ends of wooden piers and these markers would glow green , bright green , so the workers would see the end of the piers . Now inside these markers was a green gel , that gel was radio active . if you google it the whole story comes up . But people have been searching that area for 100 years and still do . I was told you have nothing to worry about . But that is what i was told , i am not a expert in this area of radiation, if you do go to see this area , you will find people at this site everyday . Thanks for watching Mike .

I myself did not hear that . I did not see any notices or any signs around or anything with a WARNING POSTED type of sign . I know people who live 5 minutes from the area and still walk along that beach looking for old bottles and stuff . Just check the most recent video of Dead Horse bay . Good luck mud larking , look for Adele , she is on that beach 4 days a week . She is very cool . God Bless Mike .
