For real man the reason why i love Dead Island i didn't have the whole cliche human's are real monster's like The Last Of Us or these other modern zombie game's, it did make it clear you should be beware of people during these apocalypse event's such as Gang's or Looter's. Also the location for Dead Island was the best beacuse it reminds of Far Cry 3 its mysterious and kinda haunting something these new games sorta lack it's disturbing atmosphere.

@@Kagetora- the dropkick reminds me of the same gravity that the dropkick in dying light 1 has, which I’m happy about. Dying light 2 is a bit floaty compared to Di2. Also lots of guns, guns guns guns. It seems like the gore for them is something special too. I’m Hoping this will be a better game than what techland delivered last year aswell.

@@doobieholdin Yeah, it was a real shame too because I loved the first one. I liked the gritty atmosphere that it had. DL2 just felt too vibrant and colorful for a post-apocalyptic world. Not to mention the awful story

Be careful on the expectations (although that glass shattering looks like they saw dying light 2 f*cked up doing and they decided to jump on the spite train between the two games lol) Personally am going to pre-order the deluxe as it’s not too much above the normal imo, but I’m not pre-ordering until like a week or two before launch. I've been wishing for Dead Island 2 for many years and I feel utterly deflated to learn that it is set in California. The setting of the first game felt truly exotic and out-of-this-world for a westerner such as myself. The sequel clearly lacks all of that charm and instead replaces it with a bunch of typical, cheap, douchebaggy stereotypes and sarcastic American humor. I wanted something that, once again, takes me out of my world, not something that just introduces zombies to the one I already know and have seen in approximately 50% of the video games I've played over the past 30 years. Why do games always have to be set in LA or NYC? Why are there still so many people who fail to realize that the U.S. is not the only country on the planet? I'm American, btw.

Hate to break it to you, but HELLRAID isn’t happening at all. It got inserted into the original Dying Light as a sort of mini game dlc. The devs liked the concept but not enough for a full game so they took the concept and remodeled some assets to fit Dying Light and put that in an arcade machine inside of the tower base as a mini game just so people could still get something out of it instead of it just being entirely forgotten about. I liked the idea, wouldn’t mind seeing a full game, but I’m pretty sure they’ve dropped the headsman’s axe on that one.

@@beed-ko1mz Hes right it is not as good as dying light 1 and will never reach the level the first gamed did because the story is pretty hard to change as its already in the game (story is awful) but techland have put out a pretty good roadmap for 2023 which basically includes all the complaints people have had with dying light 2 and with the updates which have recently come from techland for dying light 2 id say in about 4-5 months the game will be in a state were it will be really fun and will have most the features that people loved from dying light 1. I think if you download it though, just because its not as good as dying light 1 doesnt mean the game is still not fun or worth playing so id give it a shot.
