Diane Adkins-Diorio Beachwood Mall isn’t doing super great. There has been some shootings in the last few years, and there seems to be more and more vacant store fronts. I LOVE Legacy Village, but even they seem to have a high turn over. Things haven’t been the same without Charming Charlie’s and the Apple Store.

Beachwood mall was ranked ohios most dangerous mall in Ohio back in Feb of 2019!!! 4 shootings... Car jackings......riots.... Drug dealing..... Fights..... Tons of shoplifting etc, over 1,700 police reports in 2018 alone!! Great Lakes is 10 times safer and has more to do, Beachwood place will look like Richmond in 5 years, it's gotten very very bad, the bus line has ruined it like it did Randall, Euclid, and richmond mall!

A cleveland TV station just today (Aug 29, 2024) reported on the redevelopment of this mall. The building is nearing all gone now, and a Meyer store is being built. Supposed to open spring 2025. High-end apartments will be built, with rent from $2,000 to $2,500!!! Nobody who I know would ever pay that kind of money. I wouldn't pay $400 a month to live in Richmond Heights!!!
