Great reaction! Such well crafted lyrics and arrangement by David. His singing-storytelling ability is phenomenal! Having his hands free of a mic and untethered, allowed him to free range-moving and engaging with the singers, musicians, and us! My first reaction when I watched this video the day it was released was, wow, he's done it again. I'm old enough to remember when he released his song "End of the Beginning" and it just exploded in the Christian music world. It was sung at so many Easter Day Church celebrations. This was back in like 2001-2003, and then when he started doing "He's Alive" he set another trend for Easter. Now with "Dead Man Rising" I'm sure that we will hear it everywhere lol. Such an amazing song from an amazing Artist.

Yes, David knows he has to take good care of his 'vocal instrument'! He even has developed a special tea blend for vocalists! (It's available on his website). Yes, there are some very familiar faces and also several new folks. The young male singer(at mic) is a 2019 'American Idol' finalist, Walter Burroughs(?). David sang Don Franscico's song 'He Alive' (Gaither Tent Revival) which is from Peter's perspective after the resurrection. ('a tissue song'). David also wrote, and his daughter, Maggie Beth sang, about Good Friday from Mary's perspective, entitled 'He's Still My Child'. (another 'tissue song') 'He's Still My Child' is on 'Stories & songs Vol. I. Thanks for sharing your appreciation of David's many talents!!
