@@ThreeMinuteTales Thank you yes, I am very proud of him and my nana who used to run notes to and thro on her Bike. I'd love to find out about my nan's sister too. She was only about 17 when worked as a maid in a British officers home. She was shot and killed by his son. The family said they believed he attacked her and she fought him off. He wasn't punished; they just returned him to the UK. I loved your story about the farmer who fed the 3 Black & Tans to the pigs. My other nana saw a lot if atrocities committed by them too. She proudly told me when I was sball about when she shook Michael Collins hand. I grew up in Manchester and got kept behind school fir singing a rebel song on a sing song afternoon. My father threw his head back laughing at the teacher.. I remember it so well because I thought I was in trouble. I told my dad with tears" I was only singing 'Armoured Cars and Tanks and Guns.....!"

@@Murphy1968 Haha, I love it. 😂 Wow, you certainly have a lot of very interesting family members. You should do a bit of digging and write a book. There is definitely an audience out there, that would love to read stories like yours. You can't beat a good old true story.

Could people please try and share this guy more, he is reinvigorating a tradition that goes back before mobile fast fix dopamine, computers, tv, and radio. The stories are often hilarious and sometimes tragically human. And three cheers for democracy ... those langers you mention in the comments ... the financiers and politicians from BESS 1980s handmanual of narcissism, I wouldn't embarrass Dublin University.... their day will come when they are surrounded by indifferent relatives just waiting for them to die. Tá ár lá anseo!!! I have no connection to Ireland or indeed Dublin, just the love we all have for our race amongst the peoples of humanity. Get sharing ... fuck the phone in the bin and watch these at home around the fire of burnt corporate furniture!!! Tá ár lá anseo
