I remember watching this as a kid with my cousin. He said that we will have those graphics in 20 years. I couldnt wait to play a game looking that good. Now its been exacly 20 years and i played forza horizon 5 today, makes me really melancholic

Dude me too, i used to dream about the days when would have graphics as good as the cutscenes. Some games do have graphics that good, like the Final Fantasy 7 or Resident Evil remakes, or God of War or Ghost of Tsushima, but graphics that good still aren't widespread or the standard. I think that by the next generation of consoles, we will finally be there 🥲

@@John-X it‘s mostly about how much budget a studio has to realise their vision. But yeah with the next generation of engines like ue5, we could see a higher standard, because those engines require a lot less work in some areas. We‘ll see, its sure an exitinc time to be alive. I wonder how fantastic games will look in 20 years

one of the best fighting game intros. The part where lei-fang shows up, the music along with the scenery, is absolutley amazing. I can't get over that scene, even if it was for a short time

Dead or Alive 3 is now available to download from Xbox Live, and the game is now backwards compatible with the Xbox One and Series X. I strongly recommend downloading either the European or Japanese versions of Dead or Alive 3 from Xbox Live as seen in this video since they offer better gameplay, more content, and more attacks for characters. To download them, purchase the game first, then change the region in the Xbox settings to either United Kingdom or Japan before downloading. Also, the physical versions are compatible with the American Xbox One and Series X.

Get on Steam and hit up DOA5LR Core Fighters. It's superior to 6 but 6 is is good and also has a free to play Core Fighters. 3 & 4 are fab but I think 5LR is the best version.

Hah, this intro is added as a bonus when you get the DOA3 "Booster Pack" for the NA version. It's already included in the european version, so people, people in europe will readily have it.

They could have just used a cut-version of Nine Lives and using this CG sequence for the american release. Too bad they didn't do that. Also, as much as I like Leifang, I never understood why she was so prominent in this sequence lol

Thing is, when you do a story mode like that its bound to happen, it was the case with MK too. Don't forget too that the story always resolved around DOATEC, Helena and the Ninjas... Tina, Zack Bass, Leon, Gen Fu, Elliot and many others where always soporific characters... They where fun to play but a comical relief in the story. Zack wanted to bang Tina, Bass wanted her to go back to wrestling, Tina want a new dream, Leon want to prove he is the strongest(deep story...lol) and so on...

@wintermelonlurvess I thought Ryu was in the end? This game was more "Ayane's" Story whereas the first was Kasumi defeating Raidou and the Fourth was Helena and Project Elipson. It's weird neither of them is there since they are also part of the story.

I personally enjoyed them... even if they where done mostly with the graphic motor of the game itself. There was so much of them and all... and even tough a couple felt forced, they where usefull for the story. In DOA4 for exemple, the Helena ending was awesome, but lots of cinematics of ending where dumb and ... dumb(Kasumi for exemple) and the stories where arcade mode with 2 little cutscenes... i rather have a real story mode and an arcade mode.

the cutscenes are sweet and numerous, i would had like an intro too, and maybe a big outro but i liked the story mode, the gameplay is as good as ever, and for the "horrible english voice overs" you can always switch to japanese...
