Pete pitching a hissy fit and throwing food gives me life. 🥰 I have loved this song since "Mad Bad and Dangerous to Know" came out in the 80s.

The 70s had There's a Ghost in My House by R Dean Taylor, and the 80s had this. Though a chart hit (in the UK) in January/February in 1987,it's probably only a matter of time before it finds its way into a few Hallowe'en playlists.

It's a shame i never knew how great he was until after he passed. Media portrayed him as just a surgery freak who was a one hit wonder and i never knew he was so talented and cleary underrated. I'm 23 and have no shame in saying I've became a fan. Hopefully he's appreciated now for his talents in another realm.

Hedley Fester Never got that One Hit Wonder thing told in the papers. He had so many hits and was a regular on Top of the Pops for years. And he stayed massive in Japan until at least the late 1990s. Anyway! Do listen to the early Dead or Alive tracks and even his previous band Nightmares in Wax..... So incredible!!!!!!! Pete FOREVER

I "discovered" Pete Burns in the mid 1980s on MTV when MTV played music videos. Deep voice, can hold a tune, prettiest man I had ever seen. Decided he was totally mad lol. He would tell the press stuff like he has never worn flats in his entire life.

Interesting seeing this video on as I followed what was going on in the UK charts with some interest right through the late bit of the 70s,the 80s and on into the 90s. I'm currently on a long-slow,nostalgic journey through the music and a few other things of the 80s from start to finish, and I must have heard this one back when it came out but didn't remember it at first; perhaps tha's because it arrived in a deluge of new singles in mid-through-late January 1987. Before this he/they had Brand New Lover, which I rate as one of Dead or Alive's catchiest three singles together with You Spin Me Round (Like a Record) and In Too Deep. I first heard of Dead or Alive around the very early 80s when they were appearing with a multitude of other bands at some festival or other and Capital Radio were advertising it; however,I don't think it was until the mid-80s that I started hearing their music.
