Dead Reckoning Review

Today, we are taking a look at Dead Reckoning, the newest game from John D. Claire with the Card Crafting System in it.
The game was delivered from KS earlier this year, and if you are watching this as it releases, there is a reprint with new content on Kickstarter for a couple more days.

The see-through card system is amazing in this game. Only problem was cleaning it up after we finished playing and taking everything out of the sleeves. :D Great review guys as always!

John D Claire himself (on page 2 of the rulebook no less) references Scythe as a heavy influence for this game. So good pickup. "Games that particularly inspired or informed parts of the design of Dead Reckoning, include my own designs Mystic Vale and Edge of Darkness which in turn took inspiration from Dominion, Ascension, and Splendor, as well as Scythe for the achievements system, Wallenstein for the cube tower combat, and Scythe: Rise of Fenris for campaign ideas." Love this game.
