I saw it when it was brand new. I've seen it at least a half a dozen times. I saw it again tonight . I've seen A LOT of movies, but 32 years after it's release, this is STILL the creepiest movie I've ever seen. Thank God I have a penis. If I was a woman, I wouldn't have seen a gynecologist in 32 years. Jeremy Irons performance(s) is/are the greatest in the history of film imo. And I'm not even exaggerating. It's criminal that this film is, for the most part a forgotten film.

Really good trailer but I think it misrepresents the movie as a true horror, when it’s really more of a psychological and erotic thriller that is ultimately a tragedy: the trailer shows most of the “horror” scenes.

The TV series is similar, but also quite different from the movie. Weisz was age 53 when filming the TV show. What does that have to do with a young Bujold? It was Weisz' idea to do the TV show. She's not playing Bujold's character.

The new one is unique and different from the movie, but equally as good. A longer format of hours to go into more depth about women and pregnancy. It's worth watching. Weisz is amazing in the role.

I don't know how that would work. Many times in the film both of them are seen together and addressed seperately by many people. Not to mention someone who has mental issues like a split personality would never be given a position of responsibility at a major medical facility. Funny enough, when I first saw this movie I thought that might be the angle they were going for but as the film went on it was very apparent they really was two of them. Not to mention it's based on a true story.
