I agree, I am one of those people that would not want to run around with a gun and infinite ammo. I'd prefer running around with limited ammo, then be forced to craft practical weapons for survival.

PC is also good for it's controls; I can choose between using an xbox controller or using a mouse and keyboard. It's insane how much better a good mouse and keyboard is, particularly with fps games.

Man I just got done playing DR 3 with a buddy and I must say this game was really a damn good game especially after the shitty DR 4 and yes even though this game was easier than DR 1 and 2 it still had the DR combat and formula that made it so much fun to play and the story was very good I liked Nick as a character he is just a normal guy trying to survive in a zombie invested Los Perdidos but it also has some great nods and call backs to the previous 2 games and all the weapons were so much fun to use and the combo vehicles were a welcome edition my only complaints were the amount of roadblocks and co op being a little weird to set up but those were minor nit pics but overall this is my 2nd favorite DR game number 1 being 2 but I’m so sad we won’t see a DR 5 because Capcom Vancouver shut down but hopefully since Capcom Japan has the licensing now that they bring the series back to its roots on the Xbox series x and ps5 maybe but for now I’m gonna say DR 3 was the last true DR game

Apparently there will be no timer unless on Nightmare mode. I agree on the co-op thing allowing more players in maybe a sandbox mode. Well we got frank west again in OTR, I wouldn't expect to see him a 3rd time I hope the map isn't to big to the point where there are just a lot of useless spaces because it's bigger than, i think 1 & 2 combined? So i can see why no more maintenance rooms and vehicle combinations. Also scary zombies make a zombie game pretty fun especially with squeamish friends

A game is about the feeling it generates in you. For example, when people finish a mission in a game they feel like they accomplished something. The same goes for colour, if the game is pretty colourless it will generate a different feeling for the player than when it's colourfull. Just play a game in black and white and afterwards with normal colours again.

I'm just hoping that this game isn't quite as time sensitive as Dead Rising 2 was, and that we can get more than 2 players in a co-op match at a time. This new Nick character seems like a cool guy and all, but Frank will always be the best protagonist.

you said it yourself, it is upscaled to 1080p but its native 720. xbone is stuck at 720p while ps4 will be running on true 1080p. microsoft knows this and that is why they up the contrast on the xbone to give it more depth (as can be seen on battlefield 4 side by side comparison). i'm not taking sides here, just correcting your facts.

The only exclusives I like on the ps are the uncharted series and last of us.. Nothing else appeals to me, not even the controller. On Xbox; alan wake, quantun break ( same developpers as alan wake), halo series, gears of wars series, Titanfall, etc.

Julian Säll you do realize that the next gen physiques hasn't changed much 90% of the games are running on old gen engines we are only going to see new engines in around 2014 secondly the graphics of this game are amazing the video dumbs it down a lot and finally the whole goal of this was to fit as many animated objects at one place all doing shit to show the pure power of next gen i mean i rather see a swarm of 300 zombies then 1 zombie that falls on his back when i spartan kick his chest

There will supposedly be a Chuck and a Frank for Co-op and 2 Nicks for Multiplayer but I don't know if it's true. I can't imagine multiplayer and co-op being very different from eachother other than one is splitscreen and the other is online.

I couldn't agree more; the fear factor has entirely gone. there needs to be a game with graphics and fluidity except with a real survival / resource factor and zombies that you actually fear - especially in hordes like seen in this video.
