The more I hear Emily, the more I fall in love with her. Her voice is so unique with the way she sings and then she has the screaming voice too which is great. I think if Dead Sara was a straight up grunge band who existed back in the 90s, they would have been huge. Right there with Alice In Chains and Nirvana. Emily just has it man. The attitude, the voice and the talent. So glad Mike Shinoda found her.

I’m not a massive believer in ‘you get out what you put in’ because a fair few hard working people unfortunately won’t rise to the top, but I’m so glad Emily’s efforts paid off. To front a band for this long with 100% into every show, for an audience far fewer than deserved is more than admirable. Can just tell she’s doing what she does for the love of it, and I fully believe she’ll stay that way, whilst also getting the rewards earned now.

L.p.'s lyrics aren't exactly "fun" lol. They're a bit more serious than what her writing style is mostly for Dead Sara. It's easy for her to be herself performing her own songs. I think when the new album is out, that, when they perform those songs live, that's when she'll shine more. She's coming out of her shell more and more, though. I can't wait for an entire US tour. I have no idea how high the tickets are gonna be, but I definitely am getting as close to the stage as I can, so I'm able to see her sing. She grew on me quick! I went from, eh, ok, she's good. My favourite singer now from Nightwish -Floor Jansen did some kind of music in After Forever, totally different later in ReVamp, another type in Nightwish, and she do another in her solo side career.

I think it's her vocals, definitely, and the raw "messiness" that I like in them, from growing up on punk rock. She's, from every live show I've watched on here, just seems to be getting better night after night. I think they're on their 4th concert now? Her screams are definitely gonna get better crafted being with LP. From 1st show to 3rd they already are. I'm happy it all seems to be going well for the entire band so far.
