That’s the thing, people really criticized her during LP’s first comeback performance. She was just nervous. And lots of people IMO were just mad cause the new vocalist is a girl. Then they did a 2nd live performance this time for the public and the fans loved it and ate it up. And saying oh she improved so much. Nah, she always had the talent and people don’t realize, she is a trained and experienced performer and has been touring for years. 3 albums, hundreds of concerts. She’s not just some random person they chose. She earned her spot. Mike made the right choice with her.

I liked them before this, but after seeing this version I'm convinced that she's a fantastic musical talent, for exactly the reasons you said. Reminds me of Lzzy Hale: She'll rock your head clean off, then turn around and bring you to tears. These are the best kind of performers!

And that's exactly it. Chester was a 3 octaves singer. Which is an extremely rare. So is Emily!!! She may have just an octave or half octave higher range than chester, but she can still get pretty low for a woman, and again, this range is RARE.
