So glad that we can enjoy the Dead Space franchise together and that the remake had overall positive reception! It's KZbinrs like you that keeps the video community of this game going BritishRunner! Cheers man

I want a Dead Space slice of life game where you're just a unitologist trying to convert people
@jmag4527 Жыл бұрын
You know what you may be onto something. Can it be set on Titan station? Like months before Dead Space 2 happened? New converts etc
@KnightOfNewColu Жыл бұрын
You play Cult Simulator on Steam? lol you can probably name your cult, “Unitologists” or something.
@brandenharder6378 Жыл бұрын
@@jmax8692 yeah but what if just believing in what you honestly think is God gets you sucked into a fucking flesh blob moon? Exactly how is it not a 50/50 shot for you participating in religion. Everything could be legit and its just evil.

Greetings fellow human, do you have time to talk about our lord and saviour, Michael Altman?

Something I noticed is that the only large-scale “not evil” faction in DS are the corporations: the CEC doesn’t actually do anything wrong, and if it does, it’s usually just because the Unitologists and EarthGov acting through them. Kinda weird, tbh.
@KnightOfNewColu Жыл бұрын
Isn’t the CEC just a large maintenance contracting firm? Like the galaxies IT support in a way? Edit: OH BOY. I was way off. No technically they are the bad guys too. They built the Planet Crackers that started this whole thing in the first place. They also knew about the Marker on Aegis 7, etc.
@Hangedman11911 Жыл бұрын
On the ishimura, the workers had to pay for their own tools and the working conditions are implied to be pretty dangerous.
@scottyperes9160 Жыл бұрын
Also, according to the captain’s log, the planet crack of Aegis 7 was “just another” illegal planet crack.

I like to think that after the necromorphs begin to attack you, the child only got silent because he got too scared from the noises, like traumatized or something but I think he was still alive and saved by Isaac actions of fighting to survive the necromorphs coming to him.

I actually have my own theory about the kid in the machine. I think they may have went quiet as the power went out and they heard fighting outside, to avoid being attacked themselves. Though I think no matter what by the end of the game they are surely dead as I can't imagine them escaping

My head cannon is they used one of the three remaining life pods on the captains deck.

I think the kid was dead already when Isaac came back. Kid was in a dyer I think and it was turned on. And yeah I think you know what happens next

I'm not a fan of the other videos you do but I love your dead space content because your voice makes you sound like the "Previously on Dead Space narrator" I've watched your videos while playing 1, 2 and 3 on hardcore difficulty it helps me focus on making necromorph soup

The dude Runner is the Best deadspace content creator hands down ! Love the vidz my boy keep up the good work 🔥 Last but not least I’m real intrigued by the Fermi paradox. it’s actually really scary to think about. because of the realistic possibility of other species being killed off for eons as we’re oblivious to the true horror of what’s possibly out there 😂

You know, I'd really love to get some kind of series that shows what life is like in this universe prior to the Ishimura incident. Maybe dive into the resource war or the earth rebellion. There's a lot of interesting stories to be told about this universe. Personally, I'd prefer if it took the form of an animated series (whether it's Japanese or western in origin). We've had too many bad live action adaptations...
@s7robin105 Жыл бұрын
A dead space anime series like the cyberpunk one would be pretty awesome honestly. The movies are fine but I feel like shows are often a better format for adaptations
@CarvedStones8 ай бұрын
I’m sure you know but there’s Dead Space Martyr and Catalyst which are books that take place 200-300 years before the events of the first game. They’re pretty good, although Catalyst takes a bit to pick up.

Same! I was so taken aback on replays when he just mutely facepalms upon finding out that Nicole was dead and in his head the whole time. It’s the one time in the game I kinda chuckle at every time.

to be honest, just knowing isaac as a mute badass monster milling machine is way more worth it than knowing he had a whole normal experience (given the universe it takes place in) before dead space 1. hes much more badass as a quiet murderous engineer

Where does it say that the worms and the leviathan are the same monster? We encounter worms after we kill the leviathan, so theyre definitely two separate monsters still.

Chillingly (no pun intended), I spent the last few days watching on the RMS Titanic hitting an ICEBERG and sinking, before you produced this video. What were the chances of that happening? I could have put your plans on ice (again, no pun intended) by not doing that in the first place. 😂

I make the asessment due to how they choose to speak in which manner they do. Along with their overall ambitions but I guess you can say that they had been agents of the overseer who had ties to unitology.
