Man it would be pretty cool if they made a survival horror game of dead space that kind of resembles alien isolation but in dead space. Where it starts out you as a crew member of the Ishimura getting ready for the day and all of the sudden necromorphs infest the Ishimura and you can't fight. Your options are to run hide or die and you can make certain items that can work in your favor to give you an edge against the terrors. That would be so cool.

These are only the ambient sounds of the Necromorphs, available in the .snu files, that are classified in the game as the normal sound effects (or something like that, don't remember exactly). The actual grunts, footstep sounds and other details are stored in the .str files, that are encrypted inside the .DAT files in DS2 and 3 (to compress everything and save space)

Gabriel Gantz I have a rip tool for Dead Space 2 audio files, I found it 1-2 years ago from some russian coder. That game has the same assets as the first game.

As long as you won't use the sounds commercially and try to profit from them or claim they are made by you, as they are property of Electronic Arts and Visceral Games, as well as they are encrypted to prevent that, I think it is okay to use them

They should make a dead space themed "haunted house" where you walk around on a replica of the ishimura and zero G activates when you walk to a certain part of the ship and actors in costumes come out to scare you and you have to try and get to safety and/or get one of the weapons (stage props) to try and fight off the infestation.

Fun fact: all the Necromorph sounds are edited versions of animal roars. For example the Enhanced Slashers' roars are lions' and some other animals' roars put together and then heavily modified

They do communicate for hunting coordination but this is only confirmed for the stalkers in deadspace 2 but I'm sure if they roar in general it's for a tactical reason
