Dead Space Remake got the Re1 remake treatment, and just like in 2002, it turns out amazing. Re1 remake and Dead Space Remake are the perfect example on how you do a remake

Re1 remake was so beautiful I can still played it 5 times each charater. When i upgrade my pc and get more storage i wanna play with mods. Re3 sucked and was rushed im more of a re player but I’ve heard good things about this remake. Played dead space 1 back in the day.

Dead Space Remake is what I'd call an OG Remake Remake in my eyes is a complete redo of the story, characters and environments such as the Final Fantasy 7 Remake An OG Remake is a remake that still uses the OG Cast (characters, not voice actors), story and location which include Dead Space Remake, Resident Evil 4 Remake and Persona 3 Reload They include the original locations and story but add to it with new graphics, objectives or side-content and/or additional story not seen in the original but the main story and local are the same (so RE4R is still at the village, castle and military base) But thats how I see them

It's really good, my only problem is the way Isaac and Nicole look. Nicole looks like she's in her early 50s in the remake, while in the og she looks like she's in her late 20s. Isaac in the remake just looks ridiculous and I can't take him seriously when I look at his face

I loved this game and the remake but there is a feature that I really miss. I about to get really nerdy rn. In the beginning of the first game Issac is calm and relaxed which you can see in his body language. But when he sees a necromorph for the first time you can see his body tence up and that alerted position we all know and love. However In the remake they didn't do that and just had him like that at the get go. Other then that great remake!

No, Isaac changes its position to the weapon holding animation set. Since both use the same animations for the same weapons (Obviously improved for the remake) it's still there

Just finished it. The jokes thing about this game is if you’re really low on ammo and desperate just enter a new room. That lift animation of the monster breaking through doesn’t exist past that part 😂😂

Sure it's a remake, but they should have left the original dialogue as it was. It's no longer believable that they're trapped on a giant ship full of living dead monsters, because the characters don't convey the fear that the original ones did.

I'm an OG fan of Dead Space and I think the Remake is way better, the original mostly had issues with the story which the remake solved and focused on. The rest is mostly the same but with new-gen technology. So it's just an overall improvement.

What made Dead Space so great was every situation felt super intense and the enemies would rush you. While it's still scary in the remake, I don't feel like I'm in a panic state because the AI are more slow, allowing me to just take my time and kill them with little trouble. The best example of this is at the begining. The flashing lights, the panic, the speed of the enemies coming at you. It's a hell of a lot scarier on the original. Both are Masterpeices but I wouldn't say the Remake does everything better. I would still recommend the remake before the original though.

I've played all of the games (except for the mobile one) , 1-3, ignition, and extraction. I've watched both Dead Space Downfall, and Aftermath. So it's safe to say I like dead space, and I've just started playing the remake and can confidently say I love it; the remake is the perfect blend of new and nostalgia, and maybe it's cause I decided my first playthrough would be on the hardest difficulty, I find it to be especially terrifying.

When i see necromorph opening elevator door thought this will be a hard QTE or fight, my heartbeat get higher and then elevator just dismembered him. When i go down on this elevator and see long corridors of USG Ishimura in my 9-10 y.o. childhood(dont remember how old i am when playin it) i just abandon game and uninstall it later. Now i play Dead Space 3 with my friend, still didnt play DS1, but want to after finishing DS3

I could have sworn in the original, that enemies would vent and try to ambush you later if you ran away or avoided them, and that doesn't happen in the Remake. I think I am vastly misremembering something, but that's hardly a gripe, the Remake has some insane replayability, and I'm currently doing a Plasma Cutter Only Impossible Run. Amazing game.

I have a friend who played less than an hour of the remake, his reasoning, he doesn’t like that Isaac Clarke talked……… like he talks in the second and third, and this is a remake so it’s gone have some changes of course, but instead of giving it a chance he didn’t want to play it, cause he doesn’t like that they have Isaac talking, I mean I could understand if they got a whole different guy to voice act him, but they didn’t, they got the original voice actor from the second and third

This is my favorite videogame remake and I didn't even play it 😂. More than a graphics overhaul like he said, lots of wonderful story touches, a huge lighting change that makes everything so much worse (great?) to experience as you progress,and new gameplay to make it feel like the old game while breathing new life into it. A rare win I'll give to EA. The devs did a great job
