My favorite is the Tank Suit from dead space 1. The developers nerfed all of the DLC because in the second game you don't get the tank suit anymore and you don't get the heavy damage pack.

If you have the infected suit and haven't tried it out, I highly suggest wearing it till you get to your first in-person NPC interaction where Issac speaks with an npc face to face. The infected suit adds a...special feature to such encounters.

You can tell just by playing the game normally, the helmet has damage where you can see through it. It’s easier to tell when there’s lighting/godrays that you can stand in and it’ll go through the helmet. Rewatch that part of this video closely and you can see when the helmet is close up

I found the necromorphic version of Isaac's suit a really interesting concept, especially the description that says "When your mission is to save the person you love that not even death can stop you". It's like he's hinting that Isaac died at one point during his mission on the USG-Ishimura and was reanimated by an Infector and turned into a Neromorph (but this transformation caused his body to be fused with his engineer suit). But Isaac's willpower was such that he somehow managed to free himself from the chains of Red Marker's control and the Collective Gnosis and managed to harness his transformation, achieving greater strength, stamina, and longevity, but without losing his intellect and humanity. Thus becoming an independent necromorph that retains his human consciousness and with this "advantage" he opens his way against any threat that comes his way and thus it will be easier for him to fulfill his objective.

As much as I love the attention to detail in these suits, I have to say that I much prefer the suit change sequences in dead space 2. Just feels more natural with Issac taking a moment to adjust to the fit and feel of the armour each time, pushing around the plates to get them to sit just right.

You can also get a really slick suit by beating impossible mode, called the Burnished Suit. Uses the Level 3 suit design. Black jumpsuit, armor pieces are a Brushed Gunmetal silver, and the visor emissives are a deep red.

This reminds me of how dead space one had the most overpowered DLC I've ever seen in any game. You had the tank suit that gave you 60% damage resistance, the heavy damage pack which gave you a plasma cutter and contact beam that could kill anything in one to two hits, and then the speed kills pack that gave you insane level speed. This was on top of the cheat codes that gave you infinite stasis and infinite oxygen refill. With the tank suit, heavy damage pack, and cheat codes I could beat all of Dead space 1 in one sitting on the highest difficulty without ever dying. In fact I beat it the first time ever on the highest difficulty without ever dying. Impossible for me to do Dead space two or three on the highest difficulty without the DLC without dying. In Dead space 2 and 3 the DLC packs were never that powerful.

I've beaten every dead space game on its highest difficulty, and it was either part 2 or 3 where doing that earned you the hand cannon.. A giant foam finger issac wears on his hand and just says "bang bang pew pew pew" when you fire it. One shot instantly severes every limb at once. Even on boss level enemies. Makes you feel like a powerful yet deranged psychic

I really love the Redesign of the Level 5 Suit, the Military Suit and the Venture Suit. I really like the Level 6 suit not making you look like an oversized marshmallow this time around, though I've always taken issue with the 'Fluoride white' color scheme not fitting the overall atmosphere and instead makes you stick out like a sore thumb. Venture suit's simply my favorite simply because the name and color palette makes me think of Venture Bros. So far liking the dingy brass/bronze metal choices for these suits, really ties everything together though it's a bit of a shame the Scorpion/Elite suits didn't make it along with the astronaut suit, but I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if EA tied them to some kind of DLC later on.

I love the Infected and Lone Survivor suits. They really make you feel like you’ve been through a lot of shit. When you arrived your suit was nice and clean and normal. But now that you’ve spent some time on this ship you have just gathered everything you can to survive and you add it your suit to keep your suit from falling apart. Or with the Infected suit…Isaac is just like dying and when he gets to The Sprawl they manage to stop all his infections and stuff. Just seems like a cool bit of head canon world building to me.

@@OrionDawn15 The Soldier Rig’s edgy look might suit a non-canon DLC suit, but it looks silly when you consider that in canon an entire crew of soldiers runs around in that outfit like a bunch of Punisher knockoffs.

Does anyone else kinda wish that you could switch between the different levels of suits after upgrading instead of just being stuck with the highest upgraded suit look after purchase or is that just me? Cuz I like the way the Level 1 and 3 suits look but idk if there's a way to switch back to those.

Ng plus only and there’s something with it I switched to another suit and it was gone i could never wear it again for some reason

The Level 6 suit is my favorite, its just one of the coolest looking in my opinion, my second favorite is the Venture suit, and lastly the Level 5 Engineering suit

Hope that they do a update and add the suit levels as outfits so you could wear the level 4 or 2 but still have the stats of 6

If you have the infected armor on in a cutscene where he removes his helmet he also removes his head and all that's there is neck, and if you move the camera to see the inside of his helmet you'll he his head is in there. Made me laugh when it first happened.

How do you reapply the original suit, it doesn’t show up in storage and after applying the venture suit I can’t get it back, on chapter 4 atm.

I love everything about the lone survivor suit, except the hands wielded onto the helmet kind of ruin it for me. It just looks silly imo
