Nice, i know this is vs NPCs but I wonder if the 900m/s ammo speed could leave quite a leeway for a player to dodge when fire at distance. PD: Love the ME music.

Yep, if I am bodily going where no one has gone before. I want all the guns and shields I could muster. I wish the shields where bigger, especially if the engineering is going to make this ship hard to solo.

how would you compare this setup on the Corsair if you put it on the Phoenix, would the Phoenix with deadbolts still be good for bounty hunting? I CCUed my Corsair away but I can go CCU something else back to it, currently I have a Phoenix LTI in it's place.

Of course, Phoenix is phenomenal now, she now has 4 s5. Only 2s4 less than Corsair, but better maneuverability and better hull HP.

I'm pretty sure the capacitor on the Connie's are going to play way nicer with lasers over other ships in its size class. As long as you're not running straight up repeaters now there really are no wrong answers on a Connie. That's at least how I've been feeling on my Andromeda, Phoenix is pretty much the same ship It's just sporting a little less hp

what little time I did get into 3.23 I have found those medium sized ships like the connie and corsair are a lot better in bounties now than fighters are. Or it's just skill issue and I suck with my F8 now xD

@@SlyphGaming if you can get shots on target is always a key note. If you got a lighter or more nimble ship doing circles around you and staying close then it's a lot harder, sometimes impossible. Fighting in general.

You should try the ballistic cannon version that sounds so cool (i forgot the name of it ) when you shoot, and alternante the firing speed so it fires one cannon at a time. That just sounds and looks so damn satisfying

I do feel that the Deadbolt 5s have lost some of their "oomph" in this patch. Of course, they are more useful now with their increased ammo capacity, faster rate of fire, and more usable projectile velocity. But the halving of the alpha damage is a little bit disappointing

Yes, but before ballistic could go through the shields. That was a bug. This is much better and more realistic. o7

low ammo count is a major turn-off for me, personally I use 4 x AD5B and 2 x AD4B, going full ballistics also enables me to direct 100% power to the shields to compensate for lower hull points. What I hate about the Corsair is that useless yet irritating little fan on the left which reflects light if the star is behind you

There is no rivalry here deadbolts on corsair is best and not just on paper... but i enjoy ares inferno more when fighting smaller ships from like lrt's
