Deadend Times - Episode:74 - Dia De Los Whitewalls & 1964 Buick Riviera

On this episode of Deadend Times we start off with a short trip to Spreckels, CA to attend 'Dia De Los Whitewalls' hosted by Sabor Kustoms. Dia De Los Whitewalls was more than a car show, it was a cultural experience (for a good cause) that showcases some amazing local cars, art, and musical local talent. The intimate setting in with the fields of Spreckels as a backdrop made for a great setting. Felt like a reunion to many.
Next we headed to the Bay Area to shoot Bill Ganahl's 1964 Buick Riviera. Bill is no stranger to the custom & hot rod car scene. Along with some good fellas around him Bill runs South City Rod and Custom. So when it came to building a car for himself it's no surprise that the end result would be something great. The Rivi has just the right amount of custom touches for a clean and classy look. We're glad the Rivi made it back from it's maiden Voyage to Woolaroc and back (that's over 4,000 miles) in one piece. according to Bill he and his father Pat, no stranger to the custom & hot rod world himself, drove through rain, snow, hail, 100 degree weather and many tumbleweeds. You can't tell by looking at the car now. It still looks perfect.

That Riviera is beautiful, slightly custom with the front end, gives it a little look of the 65. Very nice.
