After close to 28 years as a hip hop fan, I gotta say that "Introvert" by Little Simz is probably one of the best openers in history. At least I can't find a more bombastic sounding Intro to an album without digging in the crates.😅 My fav opening track is "Liquid Swords" though, that shit still hits hard.

Dark fantasy for me, the little intro by nicky, the horns, and chorus, the champion reclamation of the throne type bars kanye had. That was the craziest intro to me and really set it off for such a masterpiece of an album Also good morning for the opposite, it set the mood it was pulled back and not loud but it still gave him the space he needed to ride, graduation had no skits at all so this just set the tone as well it was very moody and eclectic Pusha t: his openings on both daytona and my name is my name, are just fucking ridiculous and incredible.
