Yes you are an angel too! Angelina captivated all of us with this performance. You may remember she did it when she was 12 or 13 and now doing it at 16 shows the evolution of her abilities. I think those that get emotional which includes all the angels, are that way because they have followed her from a young age. Falling in love with her as a child and learning about her humanitarian side, and then watching her progress. We all feel like proud grandparents! It is not just you Deadgrl, most of us Angelina angels cry often while listening to our barefoot princess. Sometimes we cry because the song is sad. Sometimes we cry because the Angelina sings so beautifully. There are times I tear up while listening to Angelina and I don't know why. I know there is a physical connection of her voice to my body, making me tingle and feeling like my soul is being hugged.

Let me tell you something : I'm french, in july the 10th, I was in Norway by car, plane, train, bus and feet, in front of our incredible Angelina, hearing her singing all thats songs we know and others as surprises from Angelina to her angels ! Two reasons the audience were rather subdued: 1) They are Norwegian. 2) Angelina had just performed this song a couple of minutes before and the TV people had just advised her that there was a problem and that she would have to sing it again. I'm sure the crowed was happy to hear it again but it probably took the edge off their reactions. What a trooper she was to handle that so well.

Thanks so much, Deadgirl ! That was a great idea what you did. The studio version and in the live performance she gives it all she has. She is so comfortable on stage and so happy she has the opportunity to sing for people. Most of us cried with you and they were tears of joy that were rolling down your cheeks. There was a moment in the live version which touched me very much, something I wasn't expecting. When she started to sing and the camera took a shot of the audience there was a a scene of a group of people including a little boy in a red cap. The look on his face, I became that boy! There is no question he fell in love with Angelina at that moment and there is no doubt he will love her for the rest of his life. When he's 70 years old and someone starts talking about the greatest singer the world has ever heard he will tell people he saw her live in 2022 at a Concert and she was wonderful. I might be mistaken but it seemed like the little boy caught your eye, too. Anyway, Deadgirl, somewhere Whitney is blowing kisses to Angelina. Angelina doesn't just sing the song, she becomes the song and what a treat it is for all of us to listen to her.

Thanks for 2 more great reactions to & appreciation of Angelina's magical performances to this Whitney Houston classic. Great to see both studio & live versions back to back - & your willingness to share your emotions with your audience (I survived using only 2 tissues :). One of her best recent live performances (IMHO) is "Million Miles- Live at Kongsberg 2022" which I highly recommend. While I've seen all 3 versions (animated lyrics, studio & music video) when 1st released many times, there is just something amazing & extremely emotional about this particular live performance. No one was crying because she just whipped out one of the worlds most difficult songs in the middle of a long concert where she's doing classics and modern covers. They got to hear the worlds greatest singer perform for about 2 hours. It's a gorgeous setting that concert stage at the top of a mountain peak open air stage arena space. and you have intimate contact with the crowd. You can see everyone there. Perhaps not the best accustics for a singer with soaring vocals (an indoor concert hall is a better containment). But open air is great for Shakespearian dramatic plays. She is stunning every time she appears there. You can see what an absolute superstar she is.

Awww man, why did you have to cry??? LOL I can't blame you, we're all so proud of her! Heck, I even had teary eyes! She did such a great job with this song. The music video was visually beautiful and her live performance was the same and the vocals were what we expected...fantastic! Nice to see you back and hoping to see more from you!
