Josh has been one of the main storylines in the show; showing his progression personally and professionally. His youngest son Jake battled drug issues, finally went to rehab and has been getting his act together. Remember his father once did ever drug in the book, recovered, and made it through to become successful. You should watch the most recent 4-6 seasons to see how Josh has stepped up. It’s pretty good. Heard Josh was removed from the show this week, as someone reported he allegedly molested a child when he was 15 years old. As a result; the bleeding heart Liberals got their way and had him removed.

Even if I'm late farewell Phil. Regardless if the show was scripted, you were still a amazing human being. Even the Bering Sea cried and bowed to you in the end. She proudly admitted defeat knowing not even she could claim such a strong soul as yours. She misses you. We all miss you.

I agree. I remember his passing and watching this again took me right back to the first time I watched it. Wow! So damn sad. You know, these people in the early, early days of Virtual Reality Shows on TV were real, raw and rare. We welcomed them into our homes and in a sense, they became familiar and it's crazy, but they become part of your family. Now a days, reality shows are completely pathetic. Losing Phil Harris was a huge loss. Thanks for becoming like family. RIP Phil Harris.. Rest Easy

Got into watching Deadliest Catch as a kid between 4th and 5th grade with my dad, we would watch it every night. Phil’s passing was my first exposure to death, never met the guy but it felt like losing someone just as close.

I fished a place where the hours were long, sleep rare, if at all. A place where even the strong sometimes stumble and fall. I fished a place where you spend countless hours, pulling countless pots. A place where the memory of her back home is thought in countless thoughts. I fished a place where the weather can turn bad in the blink of an eye. A place where those will get hurt and some will even die. I love this place and the pride that it’s given me.
