I developed tendinosis (scar tissue build up) from repeated damage on my left glute medius and hamstring. I tried rehabilitating it for 2 years no results, no healing. Then I found a physio that could do PRP. I needed a total of 4 PRP injections, 2 of them were in combination with hyaluronic acid because it was injected in the tendon. It healed 100% and I hope it heals your shoulder 100% too.
@ChoppaDude51217 күн бұрын
Thanks for showing what you do to heal the shoulder! Greatly appreciate it :) Did PRP myself for my knee. Made it better, but didnt get me painfree.
@EmperorUsul17 күн бұрын
I worked in the medical field (pain management) for years. I've personally witnessed hundreds of PRP injections and have tracked patient progress through recovery. Personally, the results have been minimal from what I've seen. Insurance doesn't cover it because the scientific evidence is inconsistent.
@MHB3017 күн бұрын
That’s fair. I get a really good deal on it price wise. So even if it’s just placebo, I’ve noticed really positive results with it so far

I do wonder if these mediocre results have to do with a lack of proper training to accompany the injections. At least anecdotally I have heard a lot of praise for PRP from high-level athletes but not casual ones/general population.
@phillipwilliams753416 күн бұрын
@hashimiyazib Did wonders for me. I started them after having a microfracture surgery on my knee. Worked so well to the point of me forgetting I had a bad knee and tearing it up again.

Will get my PRP also next month. Dealing with a tennisellbow for almost a year now, tried to get it fixed with peptides which helped a few weeks before it came back and than tried it with streching which helped me like 2 month and now its back again since over a week.

I had a partial labral tear in a rugby match when I was 19, regardless of anything like that I tried it made zero difference and 8 months of time was the only cure. John is definitely doing all the right things if I had access to those injections or even the peptides back then I believe it would have helped a lot

@@paulwaters4672 You’ll be back at it before you know it. Be patient and do the physical therapy regiment daily if possible. I lost 20lbs and basically had to restart from the ground up post surgery but I’m actually stronger now than I was before my tear
