As someone who’s worked consistently in Hollywood my entire career and also in a dry spell for the first time in my professional life with this pandemic, this hit different. “I don’t think I’ve been this famous and un-salaried in my professional life.” He’s so humble. Truly he is one of us. Watching his interviews this award season - he’s done so much for me. Kept me company, been the friend I couldn’t find in real life. #ThankYouBrendan he’s already won every award in my eyes. I spent most of 2022 homeless and still found a way to borrow money to see The Whale in the theater- both because I felt it was bigger than me and my situation to support Brendan and support an LGBTQIA themed film in mainstream theaters. Haven’t been to a movie in years. I will always support Brendan! I’d love another Mummy movie but only if they truly keep his mental and physical health safe. Having him here is more important than more so bad it’s good action movies. But, of course we’d all be there opening night if Universal does make them! (With Brendan as the lead or bust! Rock has his show on NBC and doesn’t need another paycheck!) Are you listening Universal? 👀#MummyForever

i am opening that drawer right now: smoking and drinking! we all have our vices! I really hope that Samantha Morton will get an Oscar eventually too, saying too, cause I am convinced that Brendan will win it this year!

They should make him the modern day ancestor of his character from the original. The difference is he’s not young and agile and brave like his great grandfather was and we see him build up to that through out the movie. Maybe Imhotep comes back in 2023 and maybe Oconells blood line is the only one who can stop him.

Very underrated actor! A fact should never be forgotten he had top billing in a movie with Harrison Ford. Extraordinary Measures. I would love to see him do another Mummy movie with Rachel weisz.
