@@matto.matto. whatchu talking about? 😂 in alpha with near 40k in the last 24 hours

@ went from 180k to 30k in under two months. They are pulling a multiversus, releasing the game way to early with way too much hype. All for it to not be talked about by anyone by the time of release for it to lose money. 40k is not good numbers 😂

@@matto.matto. My man I love the passion here, here's what I say to that. I would argue there's not a big hype train right now there's 0 marketing and word of mouth only. Of course it's not making money games don't make money out of the gate, they have to recoup debt first then they can profit just like movies. There's no revenue generating options for the game right now I can't buy skins or pay for a BP or anything not to mention it's free to play, it'll be in debt until it's not. Lucky for Valve they have Dota 2 so unlimited cash which is good for us. 40k is great numbers it puts it in the top 100 on steam, not top 100 multiplayer top 100 ALL games, there's over 100k games on steam, that puts it in the top 1%, it's not going to be top 10 ever but it's certainly anything from dead. Marvel Rivals will pull crazy players so I suspect it'll go down when that drops in December but as far as MOBAs go it's go a lot of promise, I think it's gonna be around for a long time.

@ Helldivers 2 was also top 1%. So was palworld. Hell let loose. Multiversus. Ark survival evolved. The reason there's zero marketing is because they already used their marketing budget on KZbinrs. It failed and lost over 60% of it's player base. I could mention DayZ but they started caring about the game. Which movie did you go see when it was in early access?

@@matto.matto. Almost all f2p games have their player base drop by around 50% cause that's just how free games work. People try cause it's free, then they move on, and it's even more the case when the game is invites only, as many people don't take their time to get an invite from someone. It has almost never been seen before for a f2p game this deep in early access and with invites only to have gotten to a peak of 180k, and even more to have kept a player base around 40k. Wait at least until they remove the need for invites and then we'll be able to deduce if the game's gonna stay relevant or not.
